Question about 2003 Yamaha YZ 125

1 Answer

Problem connecting PSR I425 to computer.

Yamaha PSR I 425: Installed the supplied USB driver software as instructed, restarted the computer. However, the moment I connect the keyboard and turn its power on, the computer screen turns blue and indicates a hardware/software error. I have to turn off the computer and it says it recovered from a fatal error. What can be the problem and its solution? Computer OS is windows XP professional SP3.

There is no option under there to add a Yamaha PSR E203 without using define new. Do i need to install a driver or does anybody know what do do after I have clicked 'Define New'?

I guess you should have the Yamaha midi driver installed first, that would contain the id of the machine. If not then the second best is Yamaha.com support page. Here is the link for the midi driver: http://download.yamaha.com/usb_midi/ 12_13_2013_10_05_58_am.png

How to connect psr-3000 to computer

You can connect it with USB connection to your computer. It should be plug and play, but some drivers might be required.
You can connect it also via MIDI interface: - you will need sound-card with MIDI input connector, or you can use special MIDI device like M-Audio UNO.

How to store music we play on yamaha psr i425??? and how to transfer dat to pc? plz help

You will need the CDROM that should have come with the keyboard when you purchased it. On it will be the drivers that need to be on the computer for it to use the usb. The link to the manual is here:http://www2.yamaha.co.jp/manual/pdf/emi/english/port/psri425_en_om_a0.pdf Please look at page 86. If you don't have the CDROM you may be able to download what you need by contacting Yamaha by email through this link and asking:http://www.global.yamaha.com/support/contact.php I hope this helps.

I have yamaha PSR-i425 keyboard.can i conect it with my pc to play midi files stored in computer memory?

Yes. You will need to have a MIDI interface on your OC and also select in the sounds control panel of windows that you are using the external synth. The MIDI will expect the PSR to respond to the "general MIDI" assignments.

Your manual is here, but you are right, you put the disc in the drive, and then plug the kb into the computer with the power off, then when you turn power on, it SHOULD start the found new hardware wizard. If it isnt, the midi/usb connection may be faulty

Please teach me how to do a recording of bits with the keyboard PSR S710, it uses a USB drive, but i don't know how to use it

You need to have a basic recording program installed on your computer. If you use Apple you can use garageband. If you use Windows you can install audacity http://sourceforge.net/projects/audacity/
You will have to install the drivers of our yamaha keyboard than connect it with the usb cable to your computer and select the PSR S710 as an input in your recording program.
