I had this exact bike. I loved it btw.
1. You'll have to remove the two hex key bolts on the calipers so you can pull the wheel off (I believe 8mm)
2. There are tow large nuts that just unthread from the axle tube itself.
3.Once nuts are off just tap the tube out. Wheel should be free to pull out.
4. Careful not to damage the speed sensor that see's the little pickups on the left hand rotor. This is for your speedo and is an expensive replacement part.

How to change a wheel on a roller-skate?

To change a wheel on your roller skate please do the following:

Unscrew and remove the axle bolts from the front wheel with an Allen wrench. Pull the front wheel out of the wheel frame. Remove the bearings and spacer from the wheel. All components should slip out together. Place the spacer and bearings into the new wheel. Place the new wheel on the wheel frame. Replace the axle and tighten it using the Allen wrench. If your spacer is aluminum, tighten the axle as far as it will go. If your spacer is plastic, tighten the axle almost as far as it will go, then loosen it slightly. Spin the wheel to see how easily it rolls. If it doesn't spin freely, loosen the axle. If the wheel wobbles, tighten the axle. Repeat the previous steps for the remaining wheels.

I cant get the axle nut off to take the roter off the front wheel

A large breaker bar and deep well socket is required to get the axle nut off. They are torqued down very tight-about 150 ft. lbs. Easier to loosen the nut sith the car and wheel on the ground, then you can raise the car, remove wheel, remove the nut and washer, and get to the rotor.

Replace front wheel bearing

The front wheel bearing for your Impala is an integrated wheel hub/bearing/ABS.
The whole thing gets replaced. It should look like the one off my Bonneville; Bearing.

Remove wheel/tire. Remove brakes. Remove rotor. Remove axle nut. Press-out axle shaft*. Unplug ABS connector. Remove 3 bearing bolts.

*To press out axle, you may need a special tool from an auto parts store.
Don't forget to put the heat sheild back on during reassembly, and the axle nut need to be very tight.

I have just purchased a Kawasaki 98 GPXR motorbike and need to replace the front wheel tyre. How do i go about removing the wheel so that i can take it to the mechanics to get this done?

Torque specs:

Front axle = 80 ft/lb
Front axle clamp bolt = 15 ft/lb
Front axle caliper mounting bolts = 25 ft/lb

Front Wheel Removal:

1. While the bike is still on the rear stand (but before putting it on the front stand), loosen the front axle clamp bolt with a 6mm hex bit. You do not need to remove it fully, just be sure it's loose.

2. Using the 14mm hex bit, loosen the front axle bolt. A breaker bar makes this step easier. Once it is loose you can go ahead and place the motorcycle on the front stand.

3. Using the 12mm socket, remove the front brake caliper mounting bolts. Once you have the brake off of the rotor, replace the bolts back in the caliper to prevent losing them. Hang the brake using cable ties or twine. BE SURE NOT TO PUSH THE BRAKE PEDAL! This will compress the brake pads and make it difficult to re-install. Repeat the process for the other side.

4. Once the brakes are tied off out of the way, finish removing the front axle bolt. It's helpful to use some wood to support the wheel while removing the axle bolt. Be sure to note the spacers on the wheel between the forks and the wheel. Remove them so they don't get lost. These will need to be greased before reinstalling.

5. Installation is the reverse of removal. Be sure to replace the calipers and torque them to 25 ft/lb. Once the front axle bolt has been torqued to 80 ft/lb, be sure to drop the front to the ground and bounce the front forks 4-5 times. This will seat the forks on the axle. Then you can tighten the front axle clamp bolt to 15 ft/lb.

I need to know how to take off an axel on a 1992 plymouth laser front wheel drive and a 5 speed

In general, on front wheel drive axle replacement, the method is as follows: raise and support vehicle and remove wheel, remove the axle nut (located in the center of the hub assy.), remove the nut retaining the lower ball joint and separate from the lower control arm, remove axle from wheel hub and suspend the hub to one side, use a pry bar to force the axle out of the trans-axle, reverse process to install and observe all torque specifications.

Help channging the front wheel on a kawasaki ninga zx6r 2004 model ? please .

By "changing the front wheel" do you mean how do you remove the wheel from the bike? If so, Start by securing the motorcycle in a upright position and place a jack under the engine with a wood protector between the jack and engine. Raise the motorcycle until the front tire is just touching the ground. Remove both brake calipers then loosen and remove the axle nut. Now remove the axle clamp and slide the axle out of the wheel. Note how the speedometer gear is mounted before pulling the axle. Now raise the motorcycle until the tire assembly will clear the fender. Reassembly is exact reverse of removal with the exception of when you install the axle you will tighten the axle nut before you tighten the axle clamp.
