Hallo, I own a Suzuki SV 650 with prox. 30.000 kilometers. The latest few thousand kilometer the enginebrake does not work as it dit before. So when i close the throttle the speed is not decreasing as...

Gee, I rode mine for about 115,000 Km and never had that, except for when I had the choke on and the fast idle was keeping the revs up. If that's not it, then maybe a sticking throttle cable. Otherwise, it sounds like a loss of compression, which would point to valves staying open a bit or rings worn out. At your mileage, I would not expect valve or ring problems based on my experience.

BOGS OUT AT IDLE. BOGS ON TAKE OFF. 2001 SUZUKI SV 650S CARB.

Sounds like the carbs need to be disasembled and cleaned. Make shure you clean all jets and readjust the float. the air/fuel screw will be 1 1/2 turns out from seat.

My 2002 sv650 speedometer gives me incorrect readings, about 30-40% more than the actual speed

the sv runs the speedo from a front wheel speed drive and sometimes the tabs that turn the drive can bend or brake off giving a false reading so i would remove the front wheel and check that the two tabs are in good order and that the wheel drive is aswell.

Strange noise coming from SUzuki SV650 front part of engine..

noises are tough to troubleshoot without being able to hear it. I don't know of any common problems, but Clymer sells a manual for SV 650's up to year 2002. If yours is newer, the manual may still be of some help because I don't think the SV's have changed much over the years.

1996 Suzuki Savage 650, engine knocks

knocking increases with engine speed ...check for worn wrist pin to piston clearance, rod bottom bearing clearance, very unlikely the timing chain has any kinks with a chain tensioner set properly...a loose chain could make some noise so check the tension setting
