Also a four-stroke has the tendency to tick somewhat unlike the 2-stroke. If it seems too noisy or the ticking is more like a rattle have someone check your valves.

I put a fmf slip on, on my 06 Suzuki 125 drz-l and it is running a bit lean I was wondering what size I should go with on the jetting?

I take a small drill and go up to the nearest 0.1 say if you have jet with 104 bore, go to 1.1 drill, means 110 bore, next is 1.2 and so on,
When you find the right size, then buy a jet in that size.

Removing the carburator on a suzuki drz, 125.

It is quiet easy, you remove the seat then the fuel tank this will expose the carburetor then its simply a matter of disconecting fuel line and unscrewing attachement screws. why do you need to do this? I would be very careful doing this as any dirt or dust or grime getting in can have huge impact

I have a ticking noise in my 2005 Suzuki 125 DRZ.

The thick layer of grease is probably gone from between the engagement pawls and the thing they push against (forgot the proper name). There should still be a thin layer there, but it does cause more noise. I've been riding a Deore 525 on the rear for the since mid 03, and the same noice popped up at about the same noise. As far as I can tell, don't worry.

This is nomal for a DRZ 125 because of the short piston skirt. You get much the same annoying sound on the 250/400's also, don't stress, thats just how it is.
