On the left side of your bike, there is a trianglar side cover that comes off. Under this cover, there is the starter relay, main circuit breaker and other electical stuff. There are some fuses on the backside of this plate. One of the fuses is for the lights. Your brake light and headlight run off one of the fuses, and the rest of the lighting runs off the accessories fuse.

Good luck

Why are my break lights working until I turn on the head light?

Sounds like it could be a bad earth connection or try changing the bulbs .

Two lower break lights not working (top on in the back window is)

Power for the brake lights travel thru a light failure sensor which could have failed. The third brake light does not involve the sensor.
If both brake light bulbs have no voltage, the sensor may have failed.

My break lights are not working at night, they work during the day when my head lights are not on. I have changed the fuse and the bulbs?

Seems like your headlights are shorting out the break lights. Check to see if all ground wires are grounded. They may be crossing. If you have a question, let me know. I am here to help. This site offers wiring diagrams.

1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited - Break lights will work if the head lights are turned off, but when i turn the lights on the break lights won't work.

If you recently had a brake light bulb changed, you may have one or more brake bulbs installed wrongly on your jeep, shorting out when the lights are turned on.

Was wireing turn signal wire touched fork and sparked. head light went out and brake light went stop working

You earthed a live wire, check the fuses. If it is not the fuses, check the bulbs, if they are alright, you have probably blown a relay. Good luck!

Headlight out but new bulb doesn't work

See if moisture is in the lens assy.. If so.. you can drill small holes in the bottom of the light to allow moisture to leak/burn out.. Lemmie know
