Hello assuming there were no carburetor jet changes and your bike is running to rich. or you have realy dirty air cleaner.
Fouling plugs due to to much oil could be the wetside oil seal needs replace because it is letting your trans oil enter the crancase or you have worn crankshaft roller bearings.

Wot type of 2 stroke oil do you use ? only use race spec type 2 stroke oil as your engine is race tuned and needs respect ! also when was the last time you replaced the piston and rings , stripped the carb and cleaned it ? your only supposed to use them for 4 to 5 races max then strip and clean and check for wear or damage including the crank bearings and seals etc ! there not like a road bike ! if you dont use it for races and just have fun then you must still ride it as if racing ie short bursts then corners etc etc , and not thrashing it long distances as if on a road because it will melt the piston or damage the crank bearings ! only use NGK race plugs also , dont use too much oil mix ratio either as this can damage things as well ! I've raced mx 2 stroke for over 30 yrs and had these problems when i started and lernt from friends and the experts i chatted with ! Hope this helps ! P...

2004 Honda CR 125 R will not start

Hi, Anonymous and the usual suspects are:
1. Fuel tank empty.
2. The fuel tank has old dead gas.
3. Fuel tank bottom contaminated with ethanol sludge, dirt, water, rust, etc.
4. Fuel supply valve/petcock turned off.
5. Fouled spark plugs.
6. Engine flooded as a result of overuse of the enrichner.
7. Vacuum hose to the fuel supply valve/petcock disconnected, broken, cracked, or pinched.
8. Fuel valve/petcock or filter clogged.
9. Fuel line to carburetor or throttle body pinched, kinked or blocked.
10. Carburetor float stuck.
11. Fuel injectors clogged.
12. Fuel injectors stuck open.
13. Severely discharged or a damaged battery should have 12.5 volts or more and be able to pass a proper "LOAD" test if necessary, you may have a cursory reading of 12.5 volts or more but little or zero amperage the battery is faulty and must be replaced, AGM batteries fail in this scenario more so than lead acid batteries.
14. Check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
15. Loose or corroded wire connection at the coil or plug between ignition sensor and ECM module.
16. Spark plug cables in bad condition and shorting check for spark leakage in the dark, cable connections loose, or connected to the wrong cylinders.
17. Ignition timing incorrect due to a faulty ignition coil, ignition module or MAP, CMP, CKP, O2, TPS, ETP, IAC sensors.
18. Faulty neutral, clutch lever, or kickstand safety switch.
19. Faulty fuel pump or fuse or relay.
20. A stuck bent or burnt valve.
21. Tilt sensor needs a reset.
22. Security system not disarming alarm needs a reset.
23. Check for engine trouble codes.

HI, IF IT IS FLOODED, TURN OF THE FUEL AND OPEN THE THROTTLE FULLY AND KEEP AT THIS POSITION WITHOUT THE CHOKE,KICK REPEATINGLY AND IT MAY FIRE EVENTUALY,

RREMEMBER THAT THE CHOKE INITIALY FLOODS THE ENGINE FOR COLD STARTING, SO USING THE CHOKE WHEN ALLREADY FLOODED WILL WORSEN THINGS,

YOU COULD PROBABLY REMOVE THE EXHAUST TO DISPENSE THE FUEL QUICKER AND PUT IN A CLEAN PLUG, I WOULD DO THIS BEFORE I STRIP DOWN THE CARB TO SEE IF THE PROBLEM CLEARS, AS THE BIKE WAS PREVIOUSLY RUNNING IT SEEMS ODD TO START MAKING ADDJUSTMENTS

I have a 2002 CR 125. Runs great but has black fluid that comes out of tail pipe after running. I feel it is running too rich. What should the air/ fuel mixture screw be set at?

The mixture screw is used to get the transition from idle to throttle up smooth, and not to bog.
Sounds like your jetting is to rich, or too big. Read your plug as it's probably black. Then go smaller on your pilot jet, run it and read it again. Make sure you run 32:1 mix, and jet the bike to match this.

Spark keeps fouling but no clue why

Are you losing gear oil.
When the crankshaft seal leaks, oil from the gearbox is sucked into the crankcase, and this can foul the plug.
Also check the plug gap, most guys set the gap too small. It should be 0,7mmto 0,8mm. The plug should be a B9 EG, or equivilant.
Now, you can also change the plug cap to a type that has a built in resistor, this also helps with plug life.
Note that 2 strokes use plugs way more than 4 strokes, and you should replace the plug every 15-20 hours to keep your riding pleasant.
Good Bike you have there
Cheers
Jon

Bike keeps nosing over at 3/4 throttle

I used to have this same problem with my cr 125 until I went to a hotter spark plug. If the hotter spark plug doesnt work I would change your coil. These are the only 2 things that I can see going wrong, unless you have recently put performance parts on it then it could need to be rejetted.

Bike keeps cutting out

sounds like either your fuel vent on the tank is clogged ( the rubber hose coming off the top of the fuel cap) or #2 your spark plugs are fouling out which is probally the most common thing with a 2 cycle engine.
