It takes 3.7 quarts. Please put the correct oil for the conditions of your riding. In Alaska, use 10-30W oil for the climate is cool. If you live in Arizonia, please put 10- 40W or 20-50W because of the intense heat down there. It is better to have a little thicker oil in your engine than to lite of oil for the protection it needs.

Did oil light come on before you serviced it? Have you checked oil? If oil is low then light will come on. Does the bike have an oil filter? If the light was on before the person serviced it and it has an oil filter, then they must have not changed the oil filter. A clogged oil filter will reduce oil pressure and turn light on. Do you have the manual that came with the bike? In there it should tell you the specific reason for the light. Whether it is oil pressure or low oil level or both. I hope this helps

It is different then most other carbs. DON"T DRILL ANY BRASS HEADS LOOKING FOR THE AIR FUEL MIXTURE. The air fuel mixture is the only adjustment you can make. It is located on the bottom side of the air intake, right behind the air filter box. It looks like a 1/4" flat metal plug. Do NOT drill this. There is no slot for a screw driver. There is a tool which is no more then a small piece of pipe that fits over this plug and you turn it in till seated, gently. Count the turns. Back out to 2 and a half turns, thats normal. Or if you no that you need more fuel injected, simply turn the screw OUT 1/4 or 1/2 turn and try it. GOOD LUCK (Its not hard)
There is no drilling to be done. Hope i didnt scew something up on mine......
