I have a 1999 victory V92C that is blowing black smoke at idle. Miss fires at idle and no load on engine. Help

This motorcycle is fuel injected and could have dirty injector nozzle. Try a good water removing gas treatment and a quality injector/ fuel system cleaner. ..I like Lucas brand fuel cleaner (you can't hurt anything by adding more than recommend).
If it is still acting bad plug the spark plugs and get a new set (just as a precaution) . Plugs are sensitive and once fouled can be a gamble they will straighten back up.
If problem continues it make be time for a service appointment. It could have a injector going bad or a worm cam chain making the timing erratic or possibly a cam chain tensioner which is easy to check and change but one step at a time.

check that your air cleaner is clean or needs changing.also you may have a fuel mixtuer problem .try to check your jets in case they are blocked.

99 victory v92 I'm installing a new battery but am confused on which one is the ground wire. .can someone please help .Which wire is the ground?thx...jenna

On most systems, red is positive, and black is negative/ground. An ohmmeter could verify the black wire is ground by showing continuity to the frame or engine. It appears you have two black on the right and one red on the left. You can blow up the battery if you run one ground to positive and one to negative; running an extra to negative won't hurt, it just won't let some part of the system operate, probably the electric starter. If that's an extra red wire in the top center, put both red to positive terminal (+) and both black to negative (-).

Turning over but not firing

sounds like a fire problem pull plugs and see if there is fire, start there.
these bikes take alot of power to turn over engine so if using a lot trying to start will drain battery quickly

its running far to ritch (to much fule getting into the engine) strip cards and clean them then retune the cards up
