Hi, Anonymous for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary, transport your bike to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your issue. I'm leaking transmission oil but I don't know from where . The oil is on the left side down by the skid plate

Right behind the cylinder, on the top of the right center case half is a hose. The hose is to vent the buildup of pressure from piston blow-by into the gearbox. The vent hose is routed to the rear of the gearbox and the oil is probably winding up on the skid plate. Does the engine smoke a bit? It sounds like it's time to bore the cylinder and install a new piston and rings.

How do you get the battery out of a 1989 honda shadow 1100

Remove the Left side cover (as you are sitting on the bike).
Disconnect the negative cable first (left), then the positive. Remove the battery holder bolt (above battery). Lift up on the front of the battery and remove the vent tube. The battery will then come right out.
When installing new battery, make sure the vent tube is attached, and connect the positive cable before the negative. Sparks and batteries don't get along...
Please let me know if this helped.

1989 mercedes 190e blower motor and vents not working properly

Probably two separate problems.
For the blower motor, it may be that the bearings are getting old and so the motor is getting harder to turn and overheating. A way to check is to take the motor out (it will be tucked in behind the glovebox. Pour a tablespoon of motor oil into the vents next to the shaft and work it back and forth to loosen it up. Then put the motor back in and try it. If I'm right, the motor will work normally again. However, this is only temporary--once the oil gets worn off the bearings in a while it will start quitting again. You should order a replacement before it blows your resistor block or (in the worst case) starts a fire. You can get them online, like from
