Check the throttle assembly for dirt or damage,and the tube where it turns on the bar. The bars may be bent, also check for damage to the cable, it may have jammed somewhere or stretched during the crash

they should be one or two little screws on the carb you can turn them to alter the tickover of the engine and you proberly bent the bracket that connects the the throttle to the engine so maybe your throttle is not shutting of propperly because the cable is not running freely in the casing cus its not going straigth throught it or the casing/cable are damaged cuasing them to catch i.e the cable is frayed
