Question about Motorcycles

1 Answer

My K5 was running ok until today . It had been stood up over the winter and the battery had to be charged about a week ago as it had gone flat. But the bike was running ok after that. Today I took it out and was running ok I then took it up to about 12000RPM before I had only been going up to about 7000 rpm. Now it runs uneven and has lost power below about 6000RPM but seems to go ok above this. Any ideas

If the bike was stored the fuel could be stale, use some fuel stabilizer or drain and refill. Check the spark plugs to see if they have fueled up because of the stale fuel.

Any one savvy with cars please help me. I have a 1996 ford taurus gl it was running fine until today. I thought it was low on gas so I added more along with motor oil because mine was low now it won't...

I would say that the battery is flat or old and wont hold a charge, or the terminals are dirty. probe the terminals with a volt meter around 12 volts ok ,if little or no voltage probe battery posts 12 volts ok , if voltage ok now terminals dirty, if no voltage battery flat or dead.

What model kitchenaid was made in december of 1973?

Is the brushed band around the head missing or worn off? The model is on that band. If it worn or missing in order to correctly answer your question I need more information. Is your mixer a tilt head or a bowl lift variety? Did you look on the bottom of the base for a serial number? Some models had them there. Can you describe the ceramic piece a little better? Many models shard the same internal parts and it might not be too difficult to locate that part.

You mite have an ignition module problem but it sounds like your fuel pump is not working. Have some one turn the ignition on as you listen for the pump switching on
