This could be caused by wheel balance being off or poss unevenly worn / damaged tyres and poss wear at the head stock bearings

if the wheels not buckled it sounds like wheel bearings. lock the handlebars and see if there is movement to front wheel, left to right.

The car jerks at a certain speed

Check ball joints, tie rod ends, pitman and idler arm joints. Jack up your wheels and try to move them by hand back and forth, even up and down for any looseness.

How to attach hand brakes? how do i loosen handle bars to adjust?

The bolt you see right above where the handle turns is the handle bar clamp. And if it's been on a while you'll need to take a piece of strong wood and hold it on the bolt, when it's lossened a bit, and hit it with a hammer to fully loosen the handle bars.
Hand brakes should come with clamps to put on the hadle bars, and if you look at bikes that have hand brake, you'll see how to route the cable. The only problwem is if your bike doesn't have the part taht the brake would screw to at the wheel. Then you'll have to improvise.

When accelerating strongly, on the up shift to 2nd gear, the handle bars develope a shudder. I call this the death shake. Is the front whell somehow out of balance, or are the fork bearings gone bad as one...

It is like a shake side to side. Have the tire checked for flat spots, and if it is ok, have the bearings in the steering head checked. If the tire is somewhat worn, say 15,000 kms, it could cause this.

Check the nut on the steering neck. you may want to seriously consider swinging by the dealer as this is such a critical item.

Front end Shake, over 35mph

check to make sure the front forks are compressing at the same rate. Check fork seals. If one side compresses easier than the other it can cause a vibration in the bars as one side is dampened more than the other.

I have a 1982 V45 HONDA SABRE VF750S motorcycle. It has a severe front end shake if you remove one hand from the handle bars. What could be the cause of this shaking?

I had the same problem with mine last year. I put a new tire on it and had it balanced. The vibration went away. I would at least have your tire balanced.

Handle bars shake up and down at 50-55mph

Could be a few things I would recomend checking all the head bearings really good, it also could be a busted cord in the front tire. When this happens it usually causes a vibration at higher speeds
