Its very difficult to change the oil pork cause it take time to remove the pork and its not easy to unbolt it..so better go to the nearest motocycle repairshop and ask them to change it..

first search for the nuts that where the oil egine locates then unthread it but make sure that you have a clean container where the oil will spill,,,then go for the unthread it,,the oil go down in the container..leave for 10 minutes to drain all the oil..while you wait for the oil drain search the the capacity oil that you replace in the engine,,i know it locates near the crank case...then if you sure that the oil is fully drain then put away the waste oil and bolt or tie the bolt again....then open the replacing oil and put it where the oil gauge locate mostly it figure black and can open with our hands

I don't have a manual for it but looking at the size of the forks I would say about 400ml of ten weight fork oil.

In changing 2005 Harley Heritage Model FLSTCI fork oil, how many ounces of fork oil should I use? What does wet or dry mean?

I'm sorry but I don't have the specs on the quantity and type of fork oil for your year and model bike. I work on the older bikes that the dealers will no longer service. But, I can describe the difference between the "wet" and "dry" conditions of the fork assembly. If you take the front forks apart, clean them out, and put them back together with no oil in them, they are considered "dry". For a simple drain and refill type oil change on them where you don't get all the oil out of them, they are considered "wet". I hope this helps, You can call you local dealer's service department and they should tell you the quantity and viscosity of the oil that goes in the front forks on your machine. They'll tell you something like 6 ounces of "Type E" oil, for example. Harley-Davidson uses these types of specs to describe their oils. If you go to a website for fork oil, like PJ1, they may give a cross reference or equivalency chart for converting H-D "Type E" to their oil. I think that would be their 30 weight oil. If the front end seems too "stiff" with 30 weight, you can drop down to 20 weight. I think Honda makes a 25 weight but not sure. Your Harley won't mind the Honda oil. BG.

Good Luck
Steve

How do drain and add fork oil on a 2007 kawasaki vulcan 900 classic?

If you don't know by looking at the service/workshop manual, take it to a specialist suspension place. You could do more harm than good.

What kind of engine oil and spark plugs do I need for my 04 Vulcan 800 Classic? Thx

SAE 10-40 weight 3.1 quarts with an oil filter change, I would stick with a motorcycle oil, try to stay away from car oils.

NGK CR7E and the gap should be set at .028-.031 inches

Fork oil capacity for a 2005 kawasaki vn1600 mean streak, Thanks Des from Ireland

Hi Des, Im am Irish too, howya doin? The oil you want is SAE 10W-20. and 445ml if you are changing the oil. It can be more accurately checked with the fork removed and fully compressed and the spring removed, the oil will be 120mm from the top ot the stanchion.
The manual will give you more info on this and any other future problems so here is a link to it. Good luck to ya, and please rate me if I've helped you. Thanks

I have a 2001 Vulcan Classic 1500 and I need to know exactly what type of oil and weight of oil I need to use for a complete oil & filter change?

Use 10w40 motor oil in the gear box. Don't use any synthetic oils, oil marked "EC", or oil with "special" additives. Stick with the major brands; Pennzoil, Quaker State, Mobil or Shell. If in a hot area like Texas or New Mexico go with 20w50. Definitely change the oil filter.
