You have a myriad of tubes and connections that may be trapping water flow. The vanes on the impeller inside water pump maybe corroded or worn down, resulting in poor water flow. Or the impeller shaft end is not housed properly or has snapped off, resulting in no water flow.

either your water pump has gone bad or your coolant system is clogged up somewhere making the coolant not circulate and overheat

X5 steam mop, turns on but produces no st eam

Its likely that the tube that supplies the steam to the mop is clogged. you will need to disassemble the mop part and find that tube then push a wire up there to clear it out. Then turn the unit on and keep trying to clear with wire, you may want to wear a glove in case a sudden puff of steam comes out. This problem is common it happens because when you evaporate the water, any dissolved solids drop out onto surfaces inside the unit and make the clogs. The 'Motor' is real hot because the unit is making steam but it can't get out!

I have a Bionaire Steam Mop, Model SM-02. The water appears to be heating up, but no steam comes out. Green light is on

John:
My daughter has one of these and has the same problem. Does the body of the steamer (where the motor is located on yours) get really warm ? I took this one apart, and could find nothing visual wrong, but the motor itself was so hot that I couldn't touch it.The motor does make sounds even though it isn't supposed to after it has been running for a few seconds, but I don't think that it's turning.and no steam emits,so I suspect that is the problem. All the water hoses were clear,so I suspect that the motor will have to be replaced. It did work once and puffed steam out but not enough to do anything.

Where do u put the water in on a colt? Can't find it?

A tank used for storing excess coolant; connected to the cooling system with a small-diameter overflow hose.

The coolant reservoir is the bottle, under the hood, that holds the radiator fluid. it is also known as a overflow bottle. When the car gets hot,the overflow bottle, releases steam to relive the pressure in the radiator. excess coolant is also stored here.

First Steam then Water coming out of the overflow hose of the radiator reservoir. Is this a thermostat problem or Waterpump. When water is coming out the dash thermometer is approx half way. When I remove...

Your overflow hose is at the first tier after the seal on the radiator cap. The first thing I would check is the cap gasket, then make sure the cap is completely installed, push down hard and turn until it locks into position. If your water pump was bad, you would either be leaking water from the pump, or your car would be running hot. Usually, when you have steam/water coming out the overflow, if it is not a problem with the cap, then you are indeed running hot. If the thermostat is not opening or is stuck in the closed positiion, it will not cause your radiator to overflow, however if it is sticking closed and allowing your car to overheat then opening at a higher pressure, it could happen. Check the components in this order, gasket, cap installation, then thermostat, (you can replace the thermostat for about 10 dollars. Good luck

No steam or hot water

Check to make sure pressure is coming out of the wand, if not, there is definately dried up clog inside the tube somewhere or possibility that the hose is loose on motor.
