How do i change the throttle grip on a vtx1300

if you are just changing the grips, try to blow some air (with a compressor) into the end of it, they are held onto the throttle sleeve with glue. if you dont care about the old ones just cut them off but be careful to not slice thru the throttle sleeve inside

Vtx1300, 7000 miles, burning oil, plugs look ok what do I look for next?

Assuming the engine is burning oil and not leaking it out, the most common cause is wear on the piston rings. Somewhat continuous light smoke indicates rings. A puff of smoke when starting up the engine or pulling away from a stop sign indicates worn valve guide seals.

Can I get a “very helpful” rating on this answer?
