Not much on new hogs but check this out.If your scoot has an alarm the anti theft part of it shuts down the fuel pump so the engine won't run an can't be driven.Somehow your alarm went off,all the sounds an stuff time out to save the battery. The anti theft is still on an guess what.Sorry, only a guess hope this helps.

2006 ultra classic gas tank removal

Remove the seat. THEN remove the electrical caddy cover THEN purge the fuel supply line of high pressure gasoline by removing the fuel pump fuse, starting the engine and letting it run until it quits and then turning it over for another few seconds and then disconnect the fuel line from the tank. Then disconnect the negative battery cable and then reinstall the fuel pump fuse. THEN remove the instrument panel from the fuel tank and disconnect the wiring connector and the fuel gauge connector under the tank THEN remove the fuel from the fuel tank. Then cut off the fuel crossover line hose on one side of the tank and pull the 5/16 inch hose from the fuel pipe there and plug it and install a cap over the pipe. THEN disconnect the vent line from the tank. THEN remove the front mounting bolt and the rear mounting bolt and remove the tank.

Removing fuel supply line

You must be talking about the fuel rail to the injectors. You would release fuel pressure from the line by disconnecting the pump fuse then running the engine until it quits and then turning engine over for a few seconds and then disconnect the quick connect fitting. Then disconnect the battery negative and replace the fuel pump fuse and then Then remove the horn and access the injectors and undo the fuel rail retaining fastener and release the fuel rial from the injectors.

For a carburetted model shut off the fuel shutoff valve and then disconnect the fuel line from the shutoff valve and then disconnect it from the carburetor.

2006 Harley Davidson FXDLI Dyna Low Rider cuts out while riding

Hi, Anonymous and the usual suspects are:
1. Severely discharged or a damaged battery must have 12.5 volts or more and be able to pass a proper "LOAD" test if necessary, you may have a preliminary reading of 12.5 volts or more but little or zero amperage the battery is faulty and must be replaced, AGM batteries fail in this scenario more so than lead acid batteries.
2. Faulty alternator/generator and or voltage regulator.
3. Loose or corroded battery terminals and or cables especially the "NEGATIVE" cable, look for loose, corroded, or broken connectors inside the cable harness at "BOTH" ends.
4. Faulty main circuit breaker or ignition switch, check for loose connections and continuity.
5. Faulty system and or ignition relay, check for continuity.
6. Faulty ignition coil, ignition/electronic module.
7. Faulty CKP, CPS, CMP, MAP, TPS, or BAS sensor, corroded, loose or broken wire connector pins/sockets.
8. Throttle cables and or idle speed improperly adjusted hot idle speed should be 950 RPM to 1000 RPM.
9. Faulty neutral, side stand or clutch lever safety switch.
10. Fuel tank empty
11. Fuel tank contaminated with ethanol sludge.
12. Water or dirt in the fuel system, or clogged filter.
13. Restricted, blocked or kinked fuel line.
14. Faulty fuel pump.
15. Faulty pressure regulator.
16. Faulty or clogged fuel injectors.
17. Lean angle switch is faulty or needs adjustment.

Harley Davidson 2006 FXDLI Dyna Low Rider fuse box

Hi Anonymous, on a Dyna all fuses, circuit breakers, relays, and modules will be behind the left side panel cover secured by grommets, four nuts or screws. On later models the electrical panel bracket cover secured by four nuts or screws must also be removed to gain access to electrical components. Good luck and have nice day.

Where is the fuse box located on a 1994 harley davidson heritage softtail

Hi Ron, on a Softail remove seat and directly behind the battery is a black plastic box. The cover slides up and off revealing the starter relay and the system/fuel pump relay for you injected folks and the various assorted circuit fuses. Good luck and have nice day.

2005 harley davidson fxdli not starting. looks like everything is okay but won't start... bike is cranking but start.....maybe fuel filter is clogged???? how do you tell

Hi David, remove the air cleaner twist throttle full on and spray starting fluid into intake, close throttle and try starting. If it fires up and runs for a few seconds then dies you do have a fuel filter and or pump problem. If no fire you have an ignition problem start checking all the usual suspects: trouble codes, fuses, spark plugs, plug cables, coil, ignition module, crank position sensor, map sensor ect. ect. Or you can take it to your local dealer or shop, if you are not to experienced in electrical diagnostics or you don't have the proper instruments to perform such tests. Good luck
