Question about 2007 Yamaha Gladiator

1 Answer

Yamaha Gladiator, Number Plate position problem

Yamaha Gladiator 2010 model

IS ANY WAY TO FIX THE NUMBER PLATE BELOW THE HEAD LIGHT ASSEMBLY RATHER THAN ON MIDDLE OF HEADLIGHT WHICH LOOKS UGLY.

I tried making a bracket, and mounting it on the top of the front mudgaurd, just below, but in front,, of the headlight. But doing that not only the number plate not visible due to the shape of headlight, but the shock absrober when falling in a ditch, hits the mudguard with the number plate bracket.

Hence Pl suggest any other solution

SOURCE: fork brace

which is attached onto the forks by 4 bolts. I presumed this was designed to reduce fork flex. Its heavy and its ugly and I am thinking of dumping it when I get my new alloy front mudguard built. I think several other Tonti models have this kind of brace bolted to their mudguard and forks. Has anyone else dumped it and if so did you notice any difference? CheersI think the brace also holds the mudguard so you will need another method to hold the guard. Older Cali's had stays out to the guards to support them. With a different guard you may be able to lighten the brace by drilling but I would do a road test with and without the brace before dumping it completely.,,

Hi, Mahendra_get if you take your bike to a dealer for a specific issue that costs outrageous amounts of money only to have the same problem 2 days later your situation is not unique unfortunately and it is a double edged sword. First, you suffer the emotional stress and frustration of spending all your hard earned "Drachma" and your bike does not get fixed. Second, comes the realization that not only are the technicians incompetent but also the service manager for not doing anything about it, this isn't rocket science, it's a glorified lawn mower engine with extra cylinders and carburetors sometimes. You need to put an end to all the double talk, dancing around the issue, and a "we don't care" attitude, but how you ask, very simple you exercise the "nuclear option" go back to the dealer and ask to speak to the owner or general manager if the owner is not there, then with a straight face and polite voice you ask him/her if they can provide you with the name and contact phone number of the person at your brand motorcycle headquarters in your country that can recommend a repair facility that will fix your bike because your local dealer either can not or will not. I guarantee you that is all the grease you need to get someone to light a fire under the proper persons rear end to resolve your issue "toot sweet" For more information about your issue and valuable "FREE" downloads that you will need please click on the blue links below. My gladiator SS misfires regularly at low gear and low rpm while moving down to steepy roads

Hi, Iamunique342
COUGHING is usually caused by an air leak in the intake system and will generally have the same telltale signs, a wet or damp buildup of oil/gas seepage at the intake manifold to cylinder head or carburetor to intake manifold connection and in rare instances a worn throttle plate shaft and or seals.
POPPING or backfiring on deceleration is usually caused by a lean fuel condition or an air leak in the exhaust system and is generally located where black carbon soot is seen as a flashing build up from any joint connection. This condition can easily be remedied by removing and cleaning both joint pieces and reassembling with high temp silicone and torquing the exhaust clamp to the proper spec.
SPITTING is usually caused by a faulty accelerator pump and or nozzle, or the float bowl needle and seat leaking and overflowing through the main jet mixing well nozzle, or the air-fuel mixture screw is adjusted too lean.

Solution: Locate the serial number MX882

Locate the Serial Number The serial number of the MX882 is located inside the printer, as shown below.

  3. Wait until the print head carriage moves to the ink tank replacement position.

  4. To the right of the print head carriage, inside the printer, is a white sticker that is attached to a metal plate. The serial number is located on the white sticker. Please see the illustration below.
The serial number starts with four letters and ends with five numbers, for example: ABCD01234.

their will be an identification plate, attached to the main frame of your bike, just below the handle bars. To see it easily, turn the bars full lock to either direction. The plate will give information on frame number, manufacturers batch number, and the build date.
