Question about 2005 Harley Davidson FLHRS - FLHRSI Road King Custom
I have a 05 road king custom, Im doing my first "by myself" oil change what should I expect?? and tips or hints? is all road king fliters the same? thanks
The filters should be the same.
Make sure you have a new o-ring for the oil plug.
Make sure you properly ID the oil plug, there are two under there, one is oil, other is trans.
Don't overfill oil.
Don't over-tighten oil plug on re-installation, the aluminum threads are notorious for pulling out. Oil ring does the seal, snugly tight, don't put all you have into it.
