Its just a matter of opening the engine and changing the gasket while fsastening it with a bit of gasket maker.. But oil in the coolant.. Just have a look at the enging block and see if its cracked..

KTM Lc4 640 2004 No spark fitted a new coil still no spark tested pulsar coil got 108 ohm's getting power to CDI tested blue and white wire to coil what els is there I can do

Hi, Anthony and the usual suspects are:
1. Fouled spark plugs.
2. Severely discharged or a damaged battery, should have 12.5 volts or better and be able to pass a load test if necessary.
3. Check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
4. Loose connection at ignition coil or plug between ignition sensor and CDI box.
5. Spark plug cables in bad condition, shorting / leaking, spark plug cable connections loose, check for spark leakage in the dark.
6. Faulty ignition coil, pick up coil, igniter, trigger coil or CDI box testing needs to be checked with an ohmmeter at 70 degrees Fahrenheit
7. Faulty safety switches clutch, kickstand, neutral, off/on etc.
8. Faulty ignition switch.

KTM 450 blown head gasket?

Hey Anon, Run a compression check..screw the compression gauge into the head until the o-ring seats..( a coat of oil on the o-ring helps) hold the throttle wide open and kick it over about 6-8 times HARD.. you should get at least 120psi..if it is lower than 110psi you need to find out why...
if you don't have the tools/knowledge/experience .. .. take it to a qualified pro...

Hi My 2000 LC4 Supermoto has water in the oil I have all parts to Replace Head Gasket and Seals.( Thanks to AMS KTM) What I would like to Know is how to flush out the Oil System of the creamy oil before...

drain the milky oil out and buy the thinnest oil you can find. fill the engine to the top with the thin oil (dont start it up) then drain it out straight away do that once or twice then put in the proper oil and it should be ok
