Turn the key in the rear keyhole and pull the seat towards the back, then you will be able to lift it easily.

30 amp fuse keeps blowing on my Honda deauville 650

30 amps seems too high for any bike.... But any time you keep blowing fuses...there is a bad short somewhere check all the wiring for that feed; worn wires, bad connections, and faulty equipment on that feed service.

Good Luck

Getting clutch shudder towards the end of clutch engagement on a honda ntv 650, 1998. any ideas at all? there is an anti clutch shudder spring in the clutch, could this be faulty?

it may be time for you to replace the clutch. if you are not aware of the procedure then you should take it to a shop and have them look at it first and then shop around for the work to be done. there is no anti shutter spring or clamp or anything else. this will happen when the clutch 1 starts to go out of adjustment or 2 needs to be replaced.

My honda deaville has just failed an MOT and I need to replace the bearings in the steering, any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.

you need to take the fairing off, put the bike on centre stand and remove the fork assembly, handle bars, top yolk. you can now remove the old barrings and fit new.

Cooling Sytem

Baz. As per the Hayes manual. Coolant reservoir behind left-hand panel. Panel held in place by one screw, peg and tabs. Remove seat and screw holding panel, pull panel away from frame to release the peg and upwards to release the tags. Hope it’s helpful.
