The first simple thing to check, is your tyre pressure, look on the side of thtyre for the information. Next you could look at your suspension set up.

What causes hard sticky shifting on 5-speed manual transmission. The manual transmission was almost 1/2 quart low when I changed the gear oil.


If the shift lever is what is hard & sticky, get some grease & lube the handle at the joint at the trans. ( Maint. anyway) . The right gear oil? Was it doing it before the oil chg ? How's the clutch feel? Clutch, Pressure plate & throw out bearing poss. Smell any burning smells? One step at a time. Good luck

How to get a rag unclogged from electrolux hose?


If you have a plumbing 'snake' and an AC variable speed drill, mount the snake (remove handle if present) in the drill and try to get the tip entangled in the rag.
Use a slower speed and once the rag drags down the drill's speed, pull on it and it should free the rag.

Handle on linx is bending off


I've seen them come in with that, I've seen it fixed with tape more often than anything. Low tech, low cost. Not professional in any sense of the word but it seems to work.

Hi,
The only way to tell for sure what the problem is, is to have a good electrical meter handy. Check for a voltage drop when the pump goes on high... there may be a bad connection somewhere, or the wiring is too small causing a voltage drop...
The pump may pull high amps on high speed, indicating a bad winding...or the pump binding up...

I think you will find that the problem is one of these things...

Remove passenger door panel to access power window


I don't have your exact vehicle specifications, but I'll just throw out some general info.

Generally, the door panels are held on by several bolts/screws and plastic clips (that are not visible from the the outside).

I would start by popping open any small cap or cover around your arm rest and you should be able to find those screws/bolts. Sometimes the armrest will come completely off, sometimes they don't and are molded into the panel.

Next, I would remove the inner door handle. Usually held in place by a bolt or screw and then, generally, pulling or tugging on it enough to see how it is connected to your door system. Many times its a long wire with a hook on the end into which a small plastic retainer clip on the handle is connected into the hook. Don't bend or pull too hard!

Once you've verified that all the bolts/screws are removed, begin on one end of the door and begin tugging on the panel to separate it from the door itself. You can also use a flat head screwdriver to get you started. There will be plastic clips of some sort that will give resistance, so don't be afraid to give it a good tug. Usually, if you damage any, you can get replacements from the dealer, auto parts store and sometimes even hardware stores, but try and be careful.

After that the door panel should be free.

is the deadmans handle pulling the cable enough to cancel the off switch? if not relase the cable from the handle, TIE A KNOT IN IT(!), re fit to handle, & bingo!
If the cable is working well enough already DONT tie a knot, it wont help, its the ignition coil! ( around £30)

Extra cab door won't open


remove inner door panel & check linkage to lower latch. if connected then watch linkage while moving handle, if linkage seems to bow or bend then lower lacth is frozen & needs to be replaced.

Door handle seems loose and not connected? Then the plastic clip broke inside the door. Take off the door panel, 3 screws, and door lock cap and plastic insert around inside door handle. pry around the bottom first, and go up, when you reach the top, pull up, please be carefull to not break any more plastic. you will see a squarish opening midway up the door toward the latch. reach in and pull a rod toward the opening. You see a broken piece of plastic on the tip? if so take it off and get the replacement part for it at an autoparts store, install the new one and your set. I have broke to many of these so i ended up bending the end of the rod and using a nut to hold it in.:]

Tinny clicking noise


Hi! have you physically removed the wheel? if not then a good inspection off the vehicle may help. Check the circumference of the tyre for a tack/nail then look around the inside of the wheel for signs of chaffing or rubbing.
Maybe your Discs are showing too much corrosion around the edge and just touching the caliper, a scrape with a decent file would cure it.
