Question about 2005 Aprilia RS 125

The clutch plates could be buckled. they bind which causes the bike to stall when in gear. does it **** forward when u put it in 1st? if so u can try adjust the cluch at the lever on the handle bar. the clutch lever shuld hav bout 20mm of freeplay. loose movement in the lever when u pull it. that way u know the clutch is releasing fully and not slipping. if this makes no diffrence u can adjust at the cam lever near clutch. <read manuall. use tool.> none of this is likely to work if the plates are buckled. replace the cluch. soak in correct oil for 2 hrs before fitting.slack off clutch adjustment and start again. cam lever adjuster 1st. then gear lever. also wen fitting clutch make sure it slides free into the carrage. if not file a tiny amout from the castle shaped edges. the bits that contact the gear shaped clutch. use correct oil. never run low on gear oil this will dry and buckle the clutch.
