Question about 2004 Yamaha YZ 250 F
2005 Yamaha yz 250f. Any suggestions on what type and grade of motor oil works best? I have read all sorts of things and cannot decide. Some say 10W 30 or 40 or 15W 40 or 50.

The manual gives different grade for different temp . sorry if your in america these temps are in centigrade.
if it gets below 0 deg C use the thinner oil 10W30
5deg-40deg 15 or 20W40
If it gets to 50degC 20W50
just make sure it is motorcycle oil without friction modifiers or the clutch will slip
