Yes you will need to pull the engine apart to figure out what you need to do to fix this problem.

Seized engine

Could possibly be Crank shaft, crank bearing, or dropped a valve. Im assuming when you say it wont start, you mean it wont even turn over. If you say the drive sprocket wont turn then someting is stopping the crank shaft from turning. You will need to explore more of the engine to find the exact problem. Workshop manuals can be found online and downloaded if you look about, they will tell you exactly how to strip the engine down.

I have replaced the battery and ignition unit on my 1985 suzuki 700 es, the bike really sounds like it wants to run but wont start. Starter turns but engine won't kick over. Any Ideas?

Is it getting gas properly? Has it been sitting around for a while? The carburators on motorcycles need to cleaned after sitting around. The jet could be full of varnish. Are you getting spark for sure? Pull out a spark plug and put it in the wire, crank it over and see if the spark plug sparks. When you pulled the plug was it wet at all with gas? Then it probably isn't getting gas right. Just some of the things you could try.

I have a 2005 RMZ 450. The rod on the crank shaft blew apart and i had to replace both cases, crank, piston and rings, get the cylinder fixed and plated. I had a local Suzuki shop replace everything. ...

Sounds like your ratchet gear is mis aligned, when you put the ratchet gear together it has alignment marks that have to line up when you insert it back in the case...The kick shaft being bent slightly should not prevent the engine from turning over. I hope this helps.

check to see if gas is flowing from gas line make sure fuel tap is turned on. Check the plug and replace it if not new check to see if the carburetor is dirty. Make sure if you have an oil injector to check the oil lines. To name a few things.

Suzuki TS 185 - can't get the bike to start with

if it starts with a bump and not the kick start, it usually means the crankshaft seals are leeking. left one leeking will make it run weak, right one it will run rich.

Rm 125 wont crank

wont start, or you can't move the kick starter?
If it kicks easily, do a compression test.

My 1990 Suzuki Katana has a crack in the housing causing it to leak oil. What can I do to fix this?

is it in the crank case? then you probly want to remove the part of the case thats cracked and find a skilled aluminum welder to patch up the crack or else you can buy a new part of that case at www.cheapcycleparts.comsuzuki/katana or www.bikebandit.com/suzuki
just make sure you know what you are doing when taking it apart and be sure the gaskets are good and be careful not to rip them

I have an 04 RMZ 250 I just re-shimmed the valves and put a new piston in and bike was running great started first kick road it all over the street and golf course. went on ONE ride in the heat and...

sounds like maybe valves were shimmed too tight, check service manual for clearances...better a little loose than too tight, can cause alot of damage to cam & head,be careful!!

The bike wont start wen u press the start button i have to use jump leads put one lead on the - and another lead on the solinide valve it will turn on its own then what is the problem

could be a safety switch on the kick stand or their is also one on the clutch make sure u have the clutch pulled in and the kick stand up when u try to start it  if still doesn't  work it could be the starter solenoid  if you have a test light be sure to check for power at the small wire on the solenoid when the button is pushed   if  it does have power and wont crank  its bad
