Oil is coming out top of moter where oilsendingunitis

If you are referring to tubes as the tube where the spark plugs are installed then you probably have worn out gaskets at the base of the tubes. If you pull the spark plug wire out and remove a spark plug, you'll probably find the plug is soaked in oil. I suspect you'll have to remove the valve cover to replace these gaskets/seals.

Hi i have an 86 jimmy 2.8 and the other day i was driving it and i lost power goin up a hill and it started tapping in the moter like a disiel moter it has oil water and not running hot or smoking but the...

It sounds like you have rod knock in your engine. Stop driving your Jimmy and have a mechanic look at the engine immediately. You may have already damaged your block by having a rod poke through it.

I am only guessing at this since you did lose power. The rod closest to your flywheel might have broken or bent, causing a loss of power under load.

Sorry for your conundrum, and I hope this helped.

Tecumseh 195cc 7hp engine is very hard to turn over, had to use a bar and socket, after removing the pull starter to turn it over, the oil is clean, not burnt, also removed the plug it was good ,squirted...

You are probably correct by saying the engine is half siezed. Rust will get inside the cylinder if it is not used very often. This is a common problem. You are doing the correct thing by turning the engine over with a wrench while putting oil or penetrating oil down the cylinder. The cylinder usually cleans up after a while of turning the engine. But please note that if this is the case then rust has gotten into the cylinder and it may have caused some damage. I have "broke loose" many engines by using the penetrating oil and turning them over by hand with good success. But this may cause it to use some oil, break a ring, or cause more engine damage. Be careful and good luck. Hope this helps.

2005 5.3 vortec top in no oil pres just got truck good moter or bad moter

have to see if the oil pump strainer is clooged...oil ports clogged??? was the motor taken care of...valve covers loaded up with sludge??? pan comes off the rest is to be looked at...if she was run on no oil pressure I sure would be suspect of this motor being in poor condition. Does it run???? Is it knocking?smoking? banging or clunking? if not put a gauge on the oil pressure sending unit hole and see if it really has no oil pressure or perhaps it has a bad sender?

I have drained the oil from my lower unit on my 180 bow rider boat. how do i put the oil back in ? all yhe oil hase drained even from the resivor in the moter compartment . it is a 3litter moter.

Not quite a car question but basically you fill it the opposite way that you drained it. You can purchase a pump at you local marine store that attaches to your quart bottle of lower unit lube.

On the end of the pumps' hose there is a threaded fitting which screws in to where the drain plug goes. leave upper vent plug out.

Pump the oil into the lower unit until it comes out of the upper vent hole. Then remove the hose from the lower unit and quickly replace the drain plug.

Wipe the excess oil off of your hands. :)

Stop motion knob has to be turned sometimes to get machine to run. What can I check? I have made sure the machine is oiled.

check the belt it may need to be replaced.

if you unscrew the screw for the moter a little the moter will drop and put enough pressure on the belt, tighen the srew again and try, can keep making adjustment by lifting moter and tightning the screw a little at a time
