SOURCE: how to change coolent

like anywhere else. what do you expect to hear if you are lazy to ask properly in a few sentences?
first have the engine cool down, then pour out the old coolAnt into a container like a distilled water  container. Add distilled water and coolant in proper volumes and crank up the engine. then de-aerate the cooling system and it's done

probably only need 1/2 to 3/4 litre, when you are filling the final drive through the large bolt hole, that is also the level guide, when the oil starts to dribble out the hole, the drive is full.

SOURCE: need to get to battery on a 2003 suzuki vl 800

To access the battery, you will need to remove the saddle. The rear part of the saddle is held in place with an allen head bolt and the front part of the saddle is held in place with a ringed nut.

Remove the allen head bold holding the rear part of the saddle in place. Lift up and back to remove this part of the saddle. Now you will see a bolt with a slotted ring around the circumferance of the smooth head. The bolt head is at the bottom of what you can see. You will have to use an open-end wrench to remove this one (a socket will not work on this). Both wrenches you need are in your tool kit that came with the bike. Once this is off, remove the front saddle by lifting up and backward. You will see the battery under the seat.

Hi, Norman the parts fiche shows it as a shouldered threaded bolt with a crimp nut remove the nut and tap out the bolt, for this scenario you will need your service/owners manual if you can't find the best tool you ever bought for your Suzuki, despair not, for a mere zero $0 you can download another one. Won't crank, brand new battery.

Yes you probably need carb cleaning also its a good measure to drain the oil because if gas over time it does happen that gas will seep past the carb or carbs and into the cylinders and into the crankcase mixing with the oil.
