Go to Autozone but can of Sea foam $10 pour in 1/3 can to 2 gal fuel.. clean fuel filter or just buy a new one, your choice, empty out fuel filter and fill it up with some see foam and if you have trouble getting it started..well push start the damn thing, and if it starts and is running like ****... just do whatever it takes to keep it running and ride an ride hard at times if you have to and see if this stuff will clean out you fuel injector carbs or whatever..it worked with my bike afyer 11 miles. feedback appreciated!

Why doesn't engine turn over?

Check the battery. Is it charged? Also does the neutral light go on?
If not check the neutral switch.
The neutral switch is behind the engine case near the rear shock and has one wire. Make sure the bike is in neutral or on stands. Remove the one wire and put it to earth/chassis/ground (somewhere metal on the bike). The neutral light should come on and you should be able to start the bike if that was the problem.

Wont start at all

If you have no light you can't even hot wire it sounds like the ignition switch is bad in the start and run positions.

3. Discharged battery, needs to be 12.5 volts or better and be able to pass a load test if necessary.
4. Check the battery terminals for damage or corrosion check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
5. Tip over sensor needs a reset.
6. Faulty ignition switch.
7. Faulty starter button.
8. Faulty kickstand or clutch pull in switch/sensor.

R6 ECU reset on yamaha

Sometimes it is as simple as removing the battery and waiting 20 minutes and reconnecting it. If your model has an immobilizer (not sure what year they started using them on the R6) Your stuck heading to the dealer with your keys, title and bike to have them unlock it.

No spark on my bike haven't road for a year now help please

Check the kill switches including the side stand switch, with an Ohmmeter. Good battery? Good fuses" All wires clean and with a solid connection? Check the loom. Any abraded wires? Check the operation of the ignition switch with a volt ohmmeter. Is the bike in neutral and the neutral light is lit up? Get new stock spark plugs.

If still no spark, get CDI system and coils checked at the dealers shop.

Please rate this solution. Thanks burbee904!
