Loud Engine Noise

Hello, it's probably not safe to drive, noises are never good news, I would suggest that you check the engine oil and if it's low add oil to it and hope it's not too late to prevent engine damage.

Humming noise when car is moving

most likely if its a hum it could be tires , if its a roar it could be the drive train

support the vehicle on jack stands , start the engine , put in drive and let it idle, if noise is gone ...its the tires if not check the drive train ...start with fluid levels

sounds like a vacuum problem. check for any kinks that could cause clogging or cracks rips tears in all your rubber hoses that may cause air leak. you may have a stuck idle air control valve. there may even be a problem with your exhaust gas recirculation system. if nothing you can disconnect your battery for 5 min to reset the power train control module (computer that controls the engine) buy a repair manual for your vehicle and check Cadillac enthusiast forums for common issues it may be some plug in your engine has a habit of coming loose or any number of easy to fix issues. goodluck

You probably have a wheel hub/bearing going bad. Thes usually have sensors in them that will cause this issue.

My 2005 predator is making a weird grinding noise. It runs fine and goes into every gear good. It's a little slow on start up. And just when i let off the gas it makes a noise like a chain hitting the case...

It kind of sounds like ignition or timeing knock. Try running ethinol free gas if it's available or changing the octane fuel you are useing. If that doesn't help have a service tech check it out.

Good luck.

I have a suction noise coming from my 2003

Do you here the noise inside the car or does it seem to be coming from the outside under the hood?

It could be an intake induction noise caused from an air cleaner duct hose loose or damaged, I would lift the hood and make sure it is OK.

It could also be an A/C vacuum hose disconnected or broken causing a vacuum leak. You would probably notice one or more of your heater control functions not operating properly.

Also the brake vacuum booster may have a seal leak at the dash. You might notice the brakes are a bit harder than normal.
Let me know.
