SOURCE: My suzuki drz 400 seems to drain the battery and

check that all the wire connections are good, start at the 3 stator leads and follow it to the rectifier and to the battery, also if you have a multimeter, rev the bike up to 3000 revs and hook up the multimeter to the battery (positive to positive and neg - neg), this will give you the charging voltage, should be between 13-15 volts dc, if its not, it could be a bad stator, but is more likely to be the regulator rectifier unit

SOURCE: how do you change oil on a 2007 suzuki 125 drz

Just remove the fill plug to let air in then the drain plug to drain the oil. NEVER use synthetic oil or oils with "Special" additives. They can mess up your clutch. 10w40 motor oil is used in the gearbox. Pleas rate my answer. Thanks

Hi, Michael for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix or parts inquiry. If necessary transport your vehicle to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your issue. Vacuum hose routing 2002 Suzuki 2.0L

my guess engine plenum vacuum. J20 engine.

ill now take a wild guess that its not axle vents and and washer
you said vacuum but how would you know that if its not connected?
X >>>>>> Z
do tell which end is connected and to what.?
so ill answer for vacuum only

first off , if in USA, the under hood EPA mandated vacuum map
is in full view, ever look there?
if not in USA, all answers are wrong. as they run different EFI , outside USA. (canada?)
page 20 and 27
http://www.fixkick.com/engine/20Liter/html/index.html

this engine has almost no vacuum lines (for sure gone is EGR mess)
Brake booster (huge hose)
Fuel pressure reg.
EVAP hoses. from engine to gas tank.
PCV hose

click add photo and add it , and all guessing ends, for sure.

Check all of your vacuum lines. Check your fuel hose routing. Check for leaks between carb and cylinders (intake boots).
Run some Seafoam through the tank.

Hi, Anonymous nice novella and the usual suspects are:
1. Fuel tank empty.
2. The fuel tank has old dead gas.
3. Fuel tank bottom contaminated with ethanol sludge, dirt, water, rust, etc.
4. Fuel supply valve/petcock turned off.
5. Fouled spark plugs.
6. Engine flooded as a result of overuse of the enrichner.
7. Vacuum hose to the fuel supply valve/petcock disconnected, broken, cracked, or pinched.
8. Fuel valve/petcock or filter clogged.
9. Fuel line to carburetor or throttle body pinched, kinked or blocked.
10. Carburetor float stuck.
11. Fuel injectors clogged.
12. A severely discharged or damaged battery, you need 12.5 volts or better and be able to pass a load test if necessary.
13. Check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
14. Loose or corroded wire connection at the coil or plug between ignition sensor and ECM module.
15. Spark plug cables in bad condition and shorting check for spark leakage in the dark, cable connections loose, or connected to the wrong cylinders.
16. Ignition timing incorrect due to a faulty ignition coil, ignition module or MAP, CMP, CKP, O2, TPS, ETP, IAC sensors.
17. Faulty neutral, clutch lever, or kickstand safety switch.
18. Faulty fuel pump or fuse or relay.
19. A stuck bent or burnt valve.
20. Tilt sensor needs a reset.
21. Security system not disarming alarm needs a reset.
22. Check for engine trouble codes.

Can you slowly increase the revs? It sounds like an accelerator pump or debris in the carb.
