Question about 1996 BMW K 1100 RS
Nice bike, where the heck is it melting?? At the exhaust or the radiator? If the pipes are too hot, getting discolored, it might be burning rich, and getting hotter than normal. If the radiator is the culprit, get it refreshed, check the thermostat. Make sure the fans are working, Mine come on at 210 degrees. I wish they would come on sooner, but I never messed with it. Hope this helps.
