If you have voltmeter or a test light disconnect the the 2 wires from the horn and check to see that you have power when you push the horn button if you then its the horn you can try and use the adjustment screw small one with a lock nut press the horn button while turning the adjustment screw if that does not work replace the horn.

Horn doesnt work after re-pack of airbag

The horn, cruse control and air bag each get power from the clock spring and each have a wire plugged no to it. The horn wire is probably not connected. When the clock spring breaks the horn and cruse control stop working and the air bag light stays on.

The horn button in steering wheel is stuck in the "on" position. You have to open up the wheel and gain access to the switch and either repair or replace it.

2003 dodge caravan airbag good horn doesnt work,so i jumped horn relay horn worked .so i now know relay to horn is good clock spring wiring horn pad?fuse compartment on wiring diagram has horn relay 20 amp...

if you check the wire that comes from the horn button to the relay for voltage when the horn is pushed and have voltage then you have a bad relay,if not then you probably have bad contacts in the horn pad area or even the clock spring itself.

My horn doesnt work

Sounds like you either havnt plugged in the clock spring connector or you have damaged it,

Your best checking these connectors located top of the steering colum and the clock spring is is what you plug the wires into

Horn doesnt work I need to check for a bad fuse or relay

if your cruese controle dosn't work also, it may be the clock spring in the steering wheel. Mine did the same thing

HORN DOESNT WORK

a very common cause of this problem is the steering wheel mounted horn button looses it's connection to the horn circuit due to a defective ribbon rotating contact under the steering wheel, the special clock spring shaped ribbon wiring harness is what allows you to turn the wheel and still have a connection to all steering wheel buttons and the airbag, to check this listen for a click when u press the horn button with the engine off, it will be faint but if u listen closely u will hear it, if u don't hear it u will ned to replace the Clock-Spring rotating contact under the steering wheel. Horn doesnt work

its probably not the horn itself but it might be the horn button on the steering wheel, it probably the clock spring messing up , if it is than be very careful with the airbag when you pull the steering wheel off , just disconnect the battery and wait 5 to 10 minutes before disassembling the steering wheel

1998 S10 Chevy Horn not working

You most likely need a new clock spring rotating contact under the steering wheel, it is a plastic ribbon with wire in it to connect the horn button and other accessories to the steering wheel while allowing the wheel to turn.
