Question about 2000 Harley Davidson FLTR-FLTRI Road Glide
My 2000 Road Glide battery is draining and the voltmeter shows no charging - sitting at 11- 11.5 volts while operating. I am thinking I need to replace the alternator but have no idea how easy this job is. Any input?
Before you spend for the new alternator, look for loose or dirty connectors. That's common on large twins.
You gave us no idea of automotive/Bike/Repair skills, so I don't know how easy/Hard it will be for you.
