Question about 2002 Harley Davidson FLHT Electra Glide Standard

1 Answer

Both passing lights on my 2002 Electra Glide Classic quit!! Using a test light, I've checked for current at the lights and nothing. The main headlight works so it cant be the fuse? Could it be the connector under the outer fairing or something else??

You may have answered your own question, check the connections under the fairing, use a test light probe on the wiring and work backwards until you find problem.

Radio and cd quit working. radio memory fuse keeps blowing

Hi Anonymous, you have a hard/dead short that should be easy to find generally they are the easiest. Time to get out your test light and start tracking the wire from the power side of the circuit breaker or the blown fuse receiver, when the test light quits lighting you are very close to your short. For a free wiring diagram please visit the website below and good luck.

Head light & spot lights quit working.

Check if there's (live + (positive) current coming to the headlight and the spot light once you turn them 'on' .
If theres no live (current) there thn the switch could be faulty, remove the switch and you can also check over there the live (current) to the input terminal of the switch and after tht operate the switch and check if theres current passing thro to the required wire for the head light and the spot light.
If theres no current to the switch thn you have to trace it back to the fuse box and finally to the battery .
Hope this helps.
