You will have to check your owners manual or shop service manual, each model has a specific weight and amount used in each fork,there is no one measured amount for all motorcycles.
The question you should ask is how much fork oil does my ( yr,,make,model ) take>

I have a 2003 Honda CR250r and recently replaced my fork seals and fork oil. I checked the manual and the oil level says 325-405 depending on stiffeness wanted. I went for 375 and now my forks are pretty...

Hi, Robinpereira my gut tells me you either your fork oil is too heavy or you put too much in. Drain the forks and measure what comes out if it;s way over specs adjust as necessary if it's exactly what you put in then replace 350cc and see how that works.

Ive got 1985 honda cr 125 and iwould like to know how much oil goes in each fork

It has been a VERY long time since I had my CR, but the number that sticks in my head is 4 ounces per fork, of course after you drain the old oil.

How much 5w oil goes into each fork?

Using 5w oil with stock springs, your oil level should be about 100mm from the top with the fork fully compressed, damper rod pushed all the way down, and the spring out. I hope this helps and good luck. Please vote and leave a message.

What is the fork oil level after replacing seals

Here is a manual for your bike....search for English parts of it.....
http://safemanuals.com/user-guide-instructions-owner-manual/HUSQVARNA/CR%20125-_M

The manual has directions for taking out parts, putting in SAE 5 or SAE 7.5 fork oil, and then measuring the distance from the top of the fork tube to the top of the oil. It should be 3.5 inches. That doesn't sound right, but maybe that is with the forks compressed, the directions may be indicating that. You could judge by the amount you drained out of the forks. Here are the directions in the manual.......
OIL FORK LEVEL
For the regular fork operation,
both legs must be provided with
the necessary oil quantity.
Remove the forkrods from the
fork to check the oil level inside
the forkrods. Work as follows:
- remove the power rod caps;
- remove springs from the stems
letting the oil drop into the
latter;
- bring forks to stroke end;
- check that the level is at
distance “A” below the upper
limit of rods.
(distance A is 3.5 inches)

have two measured beakers ready for when you drain each fork then when it fills up you"ll know...but i see that you"ve already done that...on my old honda cbr my manual states12.5 oz. for left...and 12.2oz. for the right.

KX 125 (2003) motorcycle

its 120 mm or 4.7 inches from the top of the fork
Some measure the oil quantity and fill the fork up, some fill the fork up and measure the oil level. The most correct method is to measure the level, I guess, but many guys measure in quantity.. both ways work well.
