Your bike will not run without a battery, Get a new battery in there, and make sure your alternator is working to keep it charged. If the alternator is bad, a new battery will only run the bike for maybe 1 hour before it dies. You might go a couple years either direction for parts to fit. Even body parts might fit. Hope this helps.

Ok the electrical system on this bike is prone to failures when 1 part dies another will come next like a chain reaction do not run your bike off ur truck any more

i can almost garantee its regulator or rectifier ur bike is eating batterys right ? thats because u got too much power from the alternator its frying ur battrys and ur cdi is next if u keep running it batteryless and produceing that amount of power here is what u do go buy a cheep second hand alternator from a scrap yard get a new battery as well if u think ur old battery is ok take it to the bike shop for testing u can take ur alternator for testing too or do the testing ur self with a voltmeter for the alternator check the current it shuldnt produce more then 14v to 15v max to test the battery a loadtest on a battery checker many good battery chargers have it built in

keep running it without replaceing the faulty parts and ull fry the cdi next
u kno ur cdi is ok because it runs off ur truck but dont do it anymore ull do more damage

the exact part needing replaceing i cant say for sure but itl be the regulator or the rectifier they are inside the alternator they can be changed but 2nd hand they cost around 80.00 each new over 100 gbp each where as a tested 2nd hand alternator with both inside is a easyer fix and costs around 40.00 less then half as much

and id put money on it that im right

make sure u got a good working alternator and good battery on and itl work

right now its eather the regulator / rectifier over chargeing or simply no charge at all because the belt has gone both will kill batterys

it wont run right without a good battery

it will kill the battery and cdi is next if ur over chargeing because of regulator rectifiers

The problem is your gen pack. its behind the flywheel wich you remove with a puller. dont hit it with a hammer to knock it lose that will demagnetize it and youll lose fire. after you get it off youll see a bunch of bundles of wire connected to one removable piece that you will have to unplug. thats the generator pack. that is what maintains voltage and charges the batt. just make sure its not a inline fuse or relay. do a continuity test on them. always start with the most simple solution first

2000 isuzu trooper no start with slow crank loose 4 volts at starter

automatic or stick>?
no engine size stated. gas or diesel.
slow crank, 250 -300 rpm is normal.
so did you AAA tow truck style , jumper cable crank that car off a running donor car yet>?
just that act (test) speaks volume for cause.

what does loose 4v mean...??
10-11v is normal voltage at starter. cranked.
4 v at the solenoid can not even begin to close it,
or did you mean the 12vdc is 4v lower that 12vd. which is 8v.
perplexing. (3 cheers 1st poster here with voltmeter, im am truly shocked,(no pun) honest reply.......!!

A fuses blown. (DEAD CRANKS)
DEAD BATTERY
BATTERY BAD
bATTERY JUST DISCHARGEd.
wrong sized battery in car, (tiny)
LAST DRIVE? the charge system died, and now battery is weak. fix charging system.
left head lights on, cure , charge battery.

battery terminals rusty !( yes they have 4 ends they can rust or get loose) 500 amps here so must be clean and tight.(bat terms)

jumper cables jump starts car ok?, yes, then battery dead.
battery bad, battery only discharged ?
next:
jumper cables don't crank fast, then hot wire the starter. (big wire to tiny)
more testing....
with known good charged battery (12.6vdc rested)
i hot wire the starter solenoid.
i monitor the voltage at starter actual.
with a volt meter.
most cars do 11v, in warm summer.
if much less, say below 10v the starter will be slow. so i monitor battery terminals volts.
and if ok, there, the cables are bad. (voltage drop on cables is that, yes, cables do fail.)
or the starter is partially shorted. or engine seizing....hand turn engine crankpulley and feel it.? feel normal, ? or cant move it...?

if i suspect a bad starter i use my ammeter.
the starter current will be about 200 amps .
no engine stated so.....i guess....
if it goes to like 600+, the starter is shorted.
I have an amp clamp amp meter, that allows me to see and find the hard cases...

Tip

How to jump start a vehicle safely

You have a dead battery and need a jump start. There is the right way and the wrong way to accomplish a jump start safely. Because of the potentially severe hazards due to improper use of jumper cables it must be done correctly. Auto batteries contain Sulphuric Acid which can blind you, or at the very least burn your skin. Also auto batteries vent off Hydrogen Gas which is highly explosive even from the slightest spark. Because of this danger it is critical to attach the jumper cables in a precise sequence. 1. Park the vehicle with the GOOD battery close to the vehicle with the BAD battery but do not let the vehicle touch each other. Make sure the cables are not routed so as to touch any moving parts, such as a fan blade. 2. Attach the jumper cable Positive + terminal to the GOOD battery Positive + terminal. 3. Attach the other end of the jumper cable Positive + terminal to the BAD battery Positive + terminal. 4. Attach the Negative - jumper cable terminal to the GOOD battery Negative - terminal. 5. Attach the last jumper cable Negative - terminal to a heavy metal ground part of the engine and NOT to the dead battery Negative - terminal. Reason being this last connection will cause a spark, and you do not want a spark next to the battery where it could ignite the Hydrogen. 6. If the engine of the donor vehicle with the good battery was not left running, start the engine and let it run for 2-3 minutes to put a charge in the bad battery. 7. Start the vehicle with the BAD battery and then remove the jumper cables from the batteries in the exact opposite order you installed them.

Came out of store jeep wont start nothing to starter

You probably need to take the car back to the dealership and purchase another vehicle. If that doesn't work you need to have them pay for you to get a replacement vehicle at a rental shop while they fix your jeep your car insurance should be able to tell you how to do the rest.

Loud clicking sound when i try to tunr it over

boost, hummmmm ?????????????
a charger with a boost button? (big shops have this)
or you mean jumper cable , jump started from a running other car?

my wild guess. is you always start fine, when jumper cable jumped.
this proves, the
battery in your car is BAD or is only discharged.
for 100 years now, same deal.
try a fresh battery off a good car.
works now, so ??? yours is weak or bad!

but started car , is the voltage 13.3. to 15v? a walfart $10 meter.?
no , then the charge system is bad (charge lamp on?)
note, i said system. not a specific part.

if the charge system is failing.?
  1. bad battery. tha'ts right alts do shut down with battery bad. (open or shorted battery)
  2. loose alternator pulley belt.?
  3. bad alternator wires. connections.? or bad battery cables.?
  4. scan the PCM most 2007 will report what is wrong with voltages and charge. scan it.
engine rpm way below normal at idle 800 is typ. good. 400 dead wrong.
battery cables bad.
battey cables lugs green with corrosion
someone put the minus cable far end to the wrong part>?
this minus cable has correct spot near the starter.
some fit to block others to stater , bolt or bell blots.
to frame is wrong, seen that , with lazy work.

1999 honda odyssey won't turn over turn key nothing but lights work

no CRANK
the first test. is jumper cable cranks.
the lights only use 1/50th the current of a starter, and dont prove anything. (eg. bad batteries do run lights great, can prove.)

juimp start it,
good, yes. bad battery; battery dischanged,or bad charging system
or left on the lights. too long.
bad jump, this means the cranking system is bad.
bad crank.
1: cables from battery to starter, corroded.
2: bad cables. split open and green copper everywhere.
3: I hot wire the stater solenoid, if fails (good battery and cables )
then it is a bad starter, (i hit it with a hammer, and bam it cranks
great tick to get of of big time trouble , far off grid or? danger zones...

4: hot wire fails.
bad KEY line.
if key oine fails wiggle the A/T shift handle, cranks now?
try neutral cranking, (fresher contacts here, magic happens)

IF a stick shift car nows the time.....

ask how to hot wire or look here.
see test 1 here "hot wiring techniques"

http://www.fixkick.com/nocrank.html

I have M/T and park on hills and start by rolling starts.
i dont need a good battery, in my 1968 xxxxx (1/2 joking)

Fuel relay

Short answer, your batter is bad. or is disCHARGED:
Long.:

wont crank?
no engine, cranks ,unless the starting system works.
unless pushed fast, like my car or i park on a hill and coast jump my car.(M/T tranny rule)

NO crank, is the true failure here:
slow Cranks are , bad battery , or a discharged battery , due to bad charging system or parked for 3 months or longer.

so ill assume its NO CRANK.
I turn the key TO START and the starter fails to CRANK.
the starter motor is dead. (key clue 1)
so i attach a set of jumper cables to my Caddy, running and this car
now cranks and RUNS (you left that out. above, huh? runs)

turnsover means nothing, because the engine starter turns over
and the engine can turn over and the engine can run,
once running the EFI system SUSTAINS runninng.
so there are 4 states there. (4 phases )

No cranks #1 reason to be slow , are a bad battery
so I charge that battery, and see how if it cranks , now?
it dont crank means a bad battery
it does work( crank) see how long it works.../?
if it dies again, or better, check the cars Alternator for by measuring
accross the battery terminals running , with any volt meter.
13.3 to 15vdc is a good alternator running the engine.
if NOT, the charge system is bad. (system)

On some cars the IMMO can block Cranking or for sure blocks
fueling after 2 seconds. So. watch the IMMO light on the dash.
Immo is the Immoblizer. option.

Refuse to start, who much will it cost me to buy another one?

another what?
NO CRANK or NO START
no car starts unless cranked fast. or pushstarted (stick) or jumper cable cranked.)
if it dont crank
1: check all fuses.
2: try jumper cable start, does it crank now (stater makes noise and engine crank shaft spins(eyes see that)
