Hi! If you're sitting on the bike, on your right leg will be the location of the battery. Theres a cover that hides it, you will need to remove the bolt that holds the battery cover. Once remove you'll have an access to the battery. HOpe this helps and have a good one!

Yes the side cover just pops right off with just a little pressure make sure to do one at a time. Its has just a plastic nipple on the cover that is pushed into a rubber piece. good luck take ur time.

Generic answer: Battery is normally accessed by removing the seat. Sometimes they are accessed through the side cover but this is rare. Find the bolts at the rear of the seat to remove.

Rear cylinder not firing on victory vegas

I've had that problem several times, and luckily one of the spark plug wires had shorted out each time. I've always been a big fan of getting the factory service manual for all my bikes-here's the one for your 2006 Vegas, not a bad price either (19.95) considering the paper manual is 135.00 and takes 3 weeks to get!

I need to know how to remove a gas tank on a 2003 Victory Vegas

Make sure to drain gasoline from the tank first.
Remove the side covers and the seat.
Remove the rubber covers from the front tank mount at front of tank (right side).
Remove the two screws at the front of the tank and the rear screw located in the "V" of the rear of the tank. Use care not to drop the bolts or retaining washers.
Disconnect the vent and water drain hose at the rear of the tank on the left side.
Position the front wheel straight ahead to gain adequate clearance between the tank and the triple clamp.
Lift the rear of the tank 2-3 inches above the frame and support
Disconnect the fuel level sensor/fuel pump wiring harness.
CAUTION: Remove the cap from the bleed valve on the fuel rail (under the tank on the right side). Wrap a clean rag around the fitting and depress the center of the bleed valve to relieve pressure on the fuel line.
Caution: Protect the tank from damage with a soft cloth or pad when installing tank mounting bolts.
Loosen the clamp and remove the fuel line from the fuel rail fitting. A small amount of fuel will drain from the fuel line, Catch it with an appropriate container or shop rag.
Remove the fuel tank. Place in a safe place unless you're replacing it.

Reverse the process to reinstall it.

Bolt on the passenger seat out then pull it back . Drivers seat has two bolts under seat, chrome fender rails have two bolts on side then side panels pull off.

Broken hydraulic clutch handle for a 2008 Victory Vegas Low motorcycle. How do you replace the handle?

You get a crescent wrench and a standard screw driver. Hold the nut underneath and use the screw driver to take the bolt out. Then you take that broken clutch lever to a dealer .. purchase one just like it and reverse the steps. It's QUITE easy.

2007 JackPot not charging

Check the connections on your battery terminals. They could be loose and/or gummed up.

Discounect the battery and clean up both the wires and terminals on the battery using a wire brush and electrical parts cleaner.

IMPORTANT!- do NOT ground the battery out by cleaning both terminals at the same time. LOTs of sparks and fire hazard. Plus that whole shocking yourself isn't fun either. Been there.

If that doesn't fix your problem, then more than likely you have a short coming off of your charging unit in the primary, or a bad ground.(Left side cover) Its a new bike, so there's a very small chance that its the charging unit itself.

Hope this helps

Good Luck!

How to drain the coolant?

There's a drain on the engine, it's the lower water pump bolt on the right side behind the coolant bottle. Look for a socket head screw with a copper washer
