2005 honda cbr 600 rr wont start and my head lights wont turn on it cranks but no start

I got you on this one for sure..i had same problem w my 05 RR.pull off the seat and the seat fairing n side fairing.there will b a yellow block of wires going nowhere there you will find a short.wiggle that little plastic block or whatever you wanna call it n ur lights n fuel pump will come on.i promise you..very easy fix,or you can call n ill help u over phn (901)230-2349

Check fuses for head light..check battery to insure >12.4v minimum! if not correct voltage you may have a cell going bad...take #1 spark plug out hang it to side of frame crank..does it have a big bluish spark? if it looks redish purple no good..pulse generators need to be ohmd out for opens.
if you"ve got "Good Spark" and "Good Voltage" push start the bike!
if it runs... but runs crappy then its a fuel issue which a can of Sea Foam from Autozone will cure $10 pour 1/3 can into 2 gallons fuel drive for 10 to 15 miles it will clean out all injectors and extract moisture from the tank if you have any in there. let me know if this helps any. thanks.

    whenever you crank a bike over, it cuts out the light circuit for more power for start...when you release the button the light should come back on. if you ever have trouble with light not coming on it could be the wiring or dirty contacts inside the switch!
