New pressure washer has started and ran for about 1.5 hours. After it ran out of Gas, refilled and now it runs for about 2 min then stops. Its the same gas that was used when it ran for 1.5 hours. Any ideas?

New machine... there are a few of things to check.

First off re-check the engine oil level. The engine has an oil level sensor and will shut off the engine when it senses a low oil level.

Then with the FUEL SELECTOR "off" remove the fuel hose to the carb. Using a catch container check the fuel flow when the fuel selector is turned "on". It should be a very rapid rate.

If you do not have good feul flow check the filter / filter bowl for debris. If nothing is discovered and you still have poor fuel flow check the fuel tank outlet port.

FUEL FLOW to carb is good Symptom persists

FUEL SELECTOR OFF

Remove the fuel float bowl and check for debris. There is an orifice jet in the bottom of the carb assy that gets clogged. Also take a look at the bowl nut for debris and clean as necessary.

Again using a catch container turn on the fuel selector with the float exposed. Fuel should flow rapidly with the float down and stop as you GENTLY raise the float to level. If it is still slow there is debris in the float needle seat and it will have to be cleaned out.
Fuel selector OFF
Reassemble / install the float bowl and test.
Fuel selector ON
Test for proper operation

If you have compression then the first thing you check is for spark. If you have spark then you move on to the fuel system. You will have to pull off hoses at a couple of points to see if gas is at the carb and further along. If it is the carb then a simple carb kit will work.

If the fuel pump(s) run while the pressure is falling, replace the fuel pressure regulator and (although I'm sure you've already done this), replace the fuel filter. If the fuel pumps appear to be turning off by themselves, replace the inertia (fuel cutoff) switch.

Hi, I have a Dewalt pressure washer 3100 psi. I want to know why the pressure washer works okay for 1 hour then it stop working completely. the oil is fine, the spark plugs are okay, and when I tried to...

There are two common issues that will cause what you are describing. What you need to do is run the machine until it dies as you are describing. Then pull the spark plug and check for spark. If you do not have spark you have a failing stater. It is very common for this problem to only show itself after the machine warms up. If you find that you do still have spark try removing the gas cap and restarting. It is also common for a vacuum lock to occur due to the seal on the gas tank cap. In most cases one of these will be your issue. If not feel free to contact me at 800.247.8103 and I will help you to troubleshoot the issue further.

Craftsman Pressure Washer 2.3 GPM 2550PSi

if there is a fuel filter running completely out of fuel sometimes allows all of the bad stuff in the fuel tank to plug the fuel filter (if it has one). press the primer bulb until you can hear fuel, then it should start.

Troybilt pressure washer won't run

If you ran the pressure washer without water running through it on startup you probably got your pump. You are supposed to engage the trigger on start up with water running through it so as to release the pressure off the pump so it will start easier. Hope this might help you.

POULAN PRO 295: RUNNING VERY STRONG, FOR OVER AN

Remove the air filter, squirt a little fuel into the carb. Start and let run if it will for a few minutes. Could be you had some water in old fuel. and it is still in the intake of saw. If it still will not run after squirting some fuel into carb. You have a firing problem.
