Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Initially, it would appear that the contacts of the starter relay are fused together. To locate the starter relay, follow the cable from the battery's + terminal.

Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.

2001 Honda VT 750 CD Shadow fuel pump not working

Hi, Donald the following is a systematic procedure for diagnosing fuel pump issues designed to keep "DRACHMA" to a minimum. If you need parts check with Amazon and eBay first to keep costs down.
1. If your pump does not turn on check the pump fuse and relay and all wiring including connectors for corroded, broken, or loose pins/sockets.
1. Normal fuel pump pressure is 3-5 PSI.
2. Check any rubber or plastic tubing for age-related pinholes by removing and plugging the ends that connect to the fuel valve and then turn on the ignition switch and watch for fuel streams exiting the pinholes, if any exist, replace tubing as necessary.
3. Check for a clogged a primary fuel filter that comes off the bottom of the pump to screen out big rocks and clean as necessary.
4. Check for a clogged secondary fuel filter that's outside if applicable by removing it from the system and replace it with a short splicing tube turn on the ignition switch and recheck fuel pressure if pressure increases to normal pressure you need a new secondary filter.
5. If all the above check out OK and the pump is not functioning properly then you need a new fuel pump.

2005 Honda VT 750 Shadow Aero will not turn over

Hi, James before testing any electrical component in the Starting System it is "IMPERATIVE" that you have a fully charged battery of 12.5 volts or more and be able to pass a proper "LOAD" test if necessary, you may have a preliminary reading of 12.5 volts or more but little or zero amperage, the battery is faulty and must be replaced. AGM type batteries fall into this scenario more so than lead acid batteries.
1. Ignition Switch not in the "ON" position.
2. Engine Run Switch in the "OFF" position.
3. Check the battery terminals for damage or corrosion check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter.
4. Bank angle sensor needs a reset or is faulty.
5. FOB battery low or dead.
6. Faulty ignition switch.
7. Faulty starter button.
8. Faulty kickstand, clutch, neutral safety switch.
9. Security alarm needs a reset.
10. Starter relay, solenoid, starter have failed or circuit wiring faulty.
11. Starter armature or field coils have failed.
12. Main fuse or circuit breaker may be blown or faulty.
13. The electric starter is working but starter clutch has failed.
14. Check for engine trouble codes.

What would cause the starter to roll over even when the key is off on a 2007 honda shadow 750

The starter runs when it is directly connected to the battery by the solenoid. Inside the solenoid is a copper bar that is pushed against the two terminals making the direct connection from the battery to the starter. For your starter to run by itself there has to be shorting/arcing inside the starter solenoid.

1994 vt1100c is this a single or double fire ignition

Not quite sure what you mean by double fire? but the ignition triggers off the flywheel\crank shaft, so it will fire every revolution of the crank even though the piston is on the exhaust stroke. with a twin cylnder if you turn the motor over two revolutions it will spark four times. Hope this helps

I need help with my 94 honda accord it's been running pretty good, but a few days ago while i was driving it at 55 miles an hour the engine shut off, i had to pull over and i started again without any...

Well when you turn you key on can you hear your fuel pump come on in the back? you should... does your key switch give you problems putting the key in or out or even turning it. it could even be your ignition switch.. both of them can run up to 200 bucks.

2002 honda shadow 750 - won't start

sounds like you killed the starter relay. If it takes a lot to start a bike eventually the contacts can weld themselves "open" causing the starter to continue cranking which would explain the sound you heard at the red light.
