Question about 1997 Yamaha XJ 600 Diversion S-N
Unless you intend to rewire for an aftermarket tach you need to find 1 from a similar model. Since yours doesn't work take it to scrapyard with you or have it on hand when ordering off the internet. Yamaha should have 1 in stock as the same tachs were used on different models for many years. Yes, it is expensive, but it will save the headaches of buying stuff that doesn't work.
