I don't know the answer myself but I know a way you can find out. Call the dealer and ask what the part numbers are for both discs, if the same, there's your answer.

    • The engine on the 2003 Night Train was a 1,449 cc transverse-mounted air-cooled four-stroke two-cylinder engine with a compression ratio of 8.8-to-1. It has an overhead valve system and two valves per cylinder. The maximum torque on the Night Train is 78.2 foot-pounds at 3,200 rpm. It has a maximum power of 62.54 horsepower at 5,300 rpm. The bore and stroke on the 2003 model is 3.8 inches by 4 inches. The maximum speed on the Night Train is 105.63 miles per hour, and it goes from 0 to 60 mph in 6.9 seconds.

    • The Night Train has a carburetor fuel system. The fuel tank on the Night Train has a maximum capacity of 5 gallons. It has a five-speed manual transmission with belt final drive. I own a 96 dodge ram 2500 v10. i want to replace the rear end with a disc brake rear end. what will fit without much hastle.


first you need to find out what has rear disc brake that is rear wheel drive once you find this just measure one the rigth length & same shock,leaf spring hook ups. you maybe have to change master cylinder too

How do you get the capierer pin off to put front brake pads on my Mercury Sable LS?


Section 06-03: Brakes, Front Disc 1999 Taurus, Sable Workshop Manual REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION Brake Shoe and Lining Removal
  1. Remove brake master cylinder filler cap (2162). Check fluid level in brake master cylinder reservoir (2K478) . Remove brake fluid until brake master cylinder reservoir is half full. Discard removed fluid.
  1. Raise vehicle on hoist.
  1. Remove wheel and tire assembly from front disc brake rotor mounting face. Use care to avoid damage or interference with disc brake caliper (2B120) , front disc brake rotor shield (2K004) or front wheel knuckle (3K185) .
  1. Remove rear brake pin retainers (2N386).
  1. NOTE: It is not necessary to disconnect hydraulic connections.

    Lift disc brake caliper from front disc brake caliper anchor plate (2B292) and front disc brake rotor (1125) . Do not pry directly against metal caliper piston or damage will occur.
  1. NOTE: To prevent damage, do not allow disc brake caliper to hang by the front brake hose (2078) .

    Position disc brake caliper out of the way.
  1. Remove inner outer brake shoe and lining (2001) assembly from front disc brake caliper anchor plate .
  1. Inspect both rotor braking surfaces. Minor scoring or buildup of lining material does not require machining or replacement of front disc brake rotor.

remove the 2 pins, #10 in pic. Usually has a dust cover over pin accessopening. Usually torx haed or hex head bolts (pins).

How to adjust rear wheel of a 2001 fxdx


as long as your rear wheel is aligned correctly already, just take your axle bolt loose a couple turns and adjust the adjusters on the rear of the swing arm. move each ajduster on each side the exact same amount.

Will the wheels from a 2000 Harley-Davidson FXDX Dyna Super Glide Sport fit on a 1999 Harley-Davidson FXDX Dyna Super Glide Sport both have dual disc brakes on front?


Check to see if they both have the same diameter axle. Harley went from a 7/8 inch diameter axle to a 1 inch diameter axle sometime around that time period.

Rear brake disc needs replacing


with car on stands use punch to remove pad retaining pins pull out pads can be tight remove 2 calliper retaining bolts move calliper away from disc remove disc retaining bolts remove disc check hand brake shoes and clean look for adjuster between shoes if it has one back it of some models just have hand brake cabel adjustment clean and fit new disc secure adjust hand brake shoes using screw driver through wheel bolt hole clean refit calliper slowley push back calliper pistons fit new pads refit retaining pins do other side pump up brake pedal check and adjust handbrake if neededcheck brake fluid level

it can have either one. depends on the model you have.look at the rear wheel and you should see a drum or a disc.
