Fuelies dont respond well to open drag pipes if you open the pipes the computer won't compensate for the loss of exhaust back pressure and it can run it to lean and burn up valves and plugs in a worse case senario

Unless an aftermarket device has been installed on your bike, you must take it to a dealer to get the fuel map reworked.

check your shutoff valve on the tank you might have a small piece of junk blocking it inside your tank...easy way to tell is when you have loss of power stop and shake bike side to side

Spitting sputtering on acceleration and complete loss of power above 2000 rpms drained floot bowl checked and cleaned spark plugs

Spitting and sputtering sounds like a fuel problem. Have you checked the fuel flow from the fuel petcock. It's vacuum operated and sometimes the diaphragm gets a hole in it. When this happens, it doesn't open properly. When acceleratign, the manifold vacuum is low anyway dut the carburetor being wide open. Pull the fuel hose off and spin the engine with the starter while watching the fuel flow. If it's not a good flow, you may want to replace the petcock.

Good Luck
Steve
