You'll probably need an HD scan tool to reset the bike's computer to clear the code.

Why doesnt truck show trouble code or engine light and not start aftr sitting all day?

I would have a load test done on the battery/s as you may have a failing cell. Remove battery terminals and clean both posts and terminals with sandpaper until you see shiny metal. The black coating is lead sulphate which has a high resistance to
current flow both into and out of the battery.

So my bike was riding fine up to Thursday night. I just changed the oil on Sunday and every time I rode it there were no issues except for the bike taking a while to turn over about half way through a 4...

As I'm sure you suspect, changing the oil and sparkplugs should have nothing to do with the symptoms you've outlined. The symptoms "seem" to indicate a problem in the charging system. Either the battery is in need of replacement or the regulator is fried. One way to test which is at fault is to jump start the bike (be VERY careful doing this as a car battery will fry your system if you connect it wrong). Once it is started, remove the jumper cables. If you need to rev the engine slightly to keep it running, this is normal as a dead battery is a big draw on the electrical charging system. If you can, have a friend hold the bike RPM's around 1500 and disconnect one of the battery leads on the bike's battery. If the bike continues to run (my suspicion is it will), you have a bad battery. If the bike will not run, then the charging system is the culprit. It could be something as simple as a regulator or as complicated as the generator (inside the engine).

My engine light comes on at lower rpms. It is the first time running the bike since october and the battery is a little weak.

First, make sure the bike is properly tuned, battery good and fluids changed. If the light persists, you will need to hit the dealer and have them pull the trouble codes from the computer. Since it is intermittent and the bike runs fine, probably not anything too serious. Make sure it's not the oil pressure light.

ENGINE LIGHT STAYS ON. IT RUNS FINE

doesnt sound like much of a problem some vechiles put on the light for matenience reasons. try unhooking the battery positive leave it disconected for 15-20 mins and reatach it. this should clear any active codes. start you vechile if it comes on again you will have to get a code reader or bring it to a garage to see why its on. but if it runs fine pffff
my lights been on for a long time and still runs fine

Unhooking Battery Cables

unhooking the battery won't clear the code it's still stored in the hard set memory go to shcucks and have them scan the computer ask them to see if the codes are cleared if not you can clear them they can't it is an OBDII car once you have cleared the problem drive it and see if it comes back, be sure to get the codes printed out before clearing the codes the mechanic will need them if it comes back, there are hard codes and soft codes soft codes can be reset by unhooking the battery but not hard codes. Don't bother with unhooking the battery.

Service engine light is on

Your vehicle’s computer system has self-testing capability. When the computer senses that there is a problem with one of the components or sensors it stores the correspondent trouble code(s) in its memory and lights up the "Check Engine" or "Service Engine Soon" light to tell you that there is a problem and you need to diagnosed and repaired it. The only way to keep the light off is to find out why it is on and correct it. You can go to Autozone and have them pull the codes, but that is only a starting point, more testing could be required.
