Question about 2007 Honda VTX 1800 C
How and when shoukd you adjust tappets on 2007 vtx 1800
Congratulations on a fine motorcycle. You obviously want to take great care of your bike and I suggest strongly you go here and get the
CLYMER DIY BOOK .
As for valve clearance. Please pull the Vin number from your bike and call the dealer. Ask about RECALLS first and also - for the specific valve clearance specks and frequency. When dealing with valves tho - If you think you're losing compression then be sure to check for them being too tight. This is part of a recommended adjustment from the factory and it is engine specific because heads are different.
The service interval - will be set by the factory.
Best of it with your bike but some things only the factory will set for you.
