Question about 2004 Honda VT 1100 C2 Shadow Sabre
The relay may be bad or the new battery terminals may not be connecting due to corrosion etc.
check connections first.
get a 12v test light check the relay gets power from the switch, usually a red wire.
Check the relay has power from the battery.
Check the starter side of the relay, with button pressed
