NO neeed of authorised service center. jst remove oil cover after draining out oil. fit d motor in the hole facing towards alternator housing. refit d oil cover. fit motor with 3 screws. then open alternor housing using T- spanner. addd those two tooooothed wheels n jst install all d wiring.
Warning:::--- If u something about bike engine. then n then only do this.

Hi JKells, No spark is probably either the coil or the CDI. CDI is the Capacitor Discharge Ignition unit. This is located beneath the battery-side cowl, forward of the battery. It is a black box about half the size of a cigarette pack, with two wire harnesses that plug into two seperate terminals. It mounts in a rubber sleeve to protect it from vibration. To test the CDI you will need an electrical multi-tester, cheap from Radio Shack, Home Depot, Lowes, local hardware store, etc. Multitester must have Resistance Mode, or Ohms setting. Hit Argo USA website, Technical page for resistance values chart. Kind of self-explains how to run test. Some values will probably show normal, others may be all over the map. If all values show in-range, aim for coil. This is assuming you have replaced the spark plug, (with Champion L87YC). Possible also, may not have good contact through ignition (key) switch/engine kill switch. Be sure battery is strong, if weak it will crank engine, but not have enough amperage to also power ignition. Hit me back, Good Luck. Ratchet,,,Sqream Scooter Club.

I spent a whole day acting like Superman, I traced every wire, pulled the seleniod, took the starter apart (put it back together wrong), took the starter apart again, put it back together (this time the right way), tried to kick the cat as she pranced by (she's too fast for me to catch), then I sat on the seat totally defeated, grabbed the handlebars, pulled the brake (not sure why) and hit the start button... Clark Kent would have tried to make sure he was holding the "rear" brake lever as you press the start button, but not Superman. Try the holding the brake and don't waste a day like me.

Sounds like a ground fault of some sort, Try looking again for cracked or rubbed wires, Some time they can be hard to distinguish, check ground leads as well, rust, corrosion, loose connections, stuff of that nature. Could also be a faulty CDI, but this is very unusual tha it would cause ground faults,
