What makes oil come from exhaust outlet

If your gear case oil is not leaking(check level) and the oil is black, it is probably from the normal combustion. These are 2 cycle and burn oil as the run. It is comes out in the exhaust. If you are premixing oil and gas, you may be a little heavy on the oil. If you are not using J/E oil or another engine manf. oil, Merc, Yamaha 2 cycle, switch to it and see if that helps. I have had problems with other brands of 2 cycle oil (pennzoil, Quaker state, etc.

you say there is a noise on the valve , do you mean the inlet and exhaust valves ? if they are making a jingelly tappy noise then they do need adjusting ! does 1st to third gears rev to near enough max revs in each one or do the faulter and miss ? if miss then have the carb and fuel tank cleaned as well as the adjustment of valves ! exhaust could be choked up also if you only do town runs also , may need decoke of exhaust port and exhaust system !

Where does the oil come out of a 2004 Yamaha 1100 VStar Classic

Oil drain plug is located near the bottom of the engine, left side toward the front. The oil filter element is located on the right side of the engine under the cover toward the front. Changing the oil filter usually requires removal of the front exhaust pipe. There is an aftermarket filter relocation kit that replaces the filter element with a spin on filter that mounts on the front of the bike.

Engine smoke on de-cell/let off throttle/

The cylinder is in the front of the bike and on a down hill the oil in the crank case could be pushing past the ring. Yes, it could be an over full situation. Only run the recomended amount of oil. You can actually rob yourself of power and do damage by over filling. I've already seen a guy blow the soft plugs right out of his Yamaha by over filling the oil. Also, be careful when changing your air filter. It can be very easy to drop dirt inside and that will definately score your cylinder walls and cause permanent smoke. It is most likely exactly what you think it is. Good Luck.
