The seal in your water pump but doubt it sounds like head gasket was it installed correctly? the head gasket is a crush gasket and can only be tightened one time after that it is junk and will not seal again there made from copper and crush really easy hope this helps good luck

Where is the radiator cap located

The main Hi-Pressure cap is under the Gas Tank. You'll have to remove the tank to access it ... But there's an overflow reservoir with it's own cap behind the Right Hand Side Cover, just below the seat.

you can be running lean gas

I have a 1997 kawasaki vulcan 1500 classic it grind going into 2nd gear and under heavy throttle it will kick out of gear i was told it is the shift fork but my shift lever is really loose i need to know...

Your shift lever should be able to be tightened, even if not, as long as the bike goes into gear than its doing its job, if it grinds and jumps out as you say than it is more than likely your shift/selector fork

1995 Kawasaki VN 1500 Vulcan Classic oil pressure light stays on

Hi, HOsscat77 #2 looks good for this issue otherwise the usual suspects are:
1. Insufficient oil level or no oil in engine or tank.
2. Air in oil system that needs to be bled.
3. Blockage in the oil tank or line.
4. Oil pump failure.
5. Faulty oil pressure sending unit.
6. Grounded oil pressure light circuit.
