How to change spark plug on a V star 2002

Remove plastic covers from the heads (front on left side of bike, rear on right side). Use the spark plug wrench that came with the bike in the toolkit. You do not need to remove the seat.

Change spark plugs wrench socket

The wrench should have been included in the tool kit with the bike. If not you can buy a replacement toolkit on ebay or similar for ~30USD

I have a Honda Shadow Areo 750. 4 Plugs. I've never changed the plugs on a bike before & I want to know how to do it. I'm a blonde & need step by step instructions. LOL

Pull the plug caps from the plugs, use the original plug spanner from the bikes toolkit especially for the rear top plug as most other tools get stuck 1 way or another. Remove & discard
Then fit the new plugs until hand tight then tighten 270 degrees (3/4 of a turn), if reinstalling old plugs only tighten 120 degrees (1/3 of a turn)
Replace caps tightly & Bobs yer uncle

Hope this helps (if so please mark as helpful !!)

Removing rear wheel, how to?

Jack up the bike (either swingarm or muffler jack), then on the under side of the swingarm is a large pinchbolt, remove that. Use the 7/8" nut that comes in the bikes toolkit and a 7/8" to remove the rear axle. Slide the belt out of the way, the wheel will come right out.

I would like to lower the seat height on my Ducati 996

You can wind down the arse end of the bike through the rear shocky of the bike.It has an adjustable spring for ride height and preload.Your toolkit would have come with a tool to do this and it is quiet easy to do.When you do this,it will affect the handling of the bike so be gentle in the adjustments and not do too much at one time. The bike has a really good balance for most riders straight out of the box,and being a sports bike,it can't be dropped to far.Hope this helps

Where is the toolkit?

I'll answer these together. Your tool pouch is under the rear seat.

To remove the seats take off the back rest. Unlock the tool pouch storage and remove the tools and lift up the rubber spacer on the bottom. You'll find a phillips head screw. Remove the screw by unscrewing it and the rear seat comes off. You will see 2 more screws at the back of the front seat. Unscrew those. Remove the right side frame cover. Remove the bolt and washers from each side in the front of the seat.It should lift right off. Good luck.
