How do I tighten the chain on my 2006 Suzuki Katana 600?

Welcome to FixYa
Dear User
I hope following Direction can Help you
Loosen the bolt on the rear axle. Tighten the 10mm bolts. Measure the distance between the frame and the rim, make sure it's equal. Give your chain about 1-1.5 inch play in the bottom middle, (between wheel sprocket and output sprocket-on the gear box). Do this is small increments, 1/2 turn at a time, then measure. Re-tighten the main bolt, make sure it's quite tight, otherwise you'll lose your wheel. Best thing is to use 1/2 inch ratchet with a 24 inch handle extension (pipe or something that can fit over the ratchets handle) ..

Cant break the nut for the front sprocket loose even with impact gun on a 2005 suzuki katana help

sounds unusual,i havent come across a gsx600f yet,but i do know that some models of earlier bikes,(not necessarily suzuki)use a left hand thread on the sprocket nut,so instead of trying to loosen the nut to the left(as one normally would) try going to the right (as if to tighten it),and if it is as i suspect ,it should come undone...hope this helps
